When booking a hunt, be sure to check with the Wyoming or Montana Board of Outfitters to assure you are hunting with a licensed and insured outfitter. Ask for references. Hunters in Wyoming must wear an outside garment of florescent orange. I prefer a cap. Montana law is 400 square inches of florescent orange, so a good soft material vest is best.
Grizzly Outfitters, LLC offers a management mule deer hunt for clients who are looking for a lesser priced hunt or maybe a new client to the hunting world. These mature deer are bucks which need to be removed from the gene pool. They are usually missing one tine, a 3x3 without eye guards, a buck in velvet, or one that is on the downhill side of life.
As you are preparing for what we believe will be the finest Mule Deer hunting experience ever, I have put together a list of items you might want to bring. We do not ask you to go out and see how much money you can spend on new gear. Most of you can make do with what already own. Please bring the rifle that you are most comfortable shooting.
There are no hidden gimmicks with us. There are no trophy fees. You are responsible for your license, conservation stamp, personal gear, and meat processing. Our lodging is very modern with rooms that will accommodate two to four. We offer excellent beds, showers, satellite TV, and all the comforts of home.
