When I was 16, I started helping my father and my uncles with drywall repair during the weekends and on summer vacation to keep me out of trouble. While I was working on drywall, there would often be other companies working on trim carpentry at the same locations. I have been working as a finish carpenter since I was 18 years old.

Alex and his crew are phenomenal!!! I have very high expectations and I was blown away by the expertise and meticulous work they did installing new 5 1/4 baseboards in my home. You will pay more, but it is worth every penny -- the quality and flawlessness of his work speaks for itself. They go the extra mile to bring excellence in what they do. Alex (owner) seemed like a nice person who came out to our home twice to look at job in order to work up a quote. Have emailed him multiple times on the status of our quote. Didn't want to annoy him because he said he was busy so waited six weeks before inquiring the first time and then close to two weeks after that, etc. We understood he couldn't fit us in for 3 - 4 months; however; we did expect a written quote in a reasonable amount of time so we could make an educated decision on moving forward and scheduling or not. He has never responded back or made any attempt to contact us and

Alex Rios is so incredibly talented, hard working, meticulous, friendly, trustworthy and professional. He came highly recommended by an interior designer, and we couldn't have asked for a more qualified person to do this job.
We had crown molding put up in the entire front portion of our home, and we also had our fireplace completely remodeled. He and his two-man crew were very polite through the whole process. They showed up on time every morning and worked into the evening, even asking to stay later some days to make sure they got everything done. We felt comfortable leaving the crew home alone

We are just so very pleased with our new woodwork in the living room. Alex and crew did a fabulous job for us. We were very nervous to hire out as my husband has always done everything himself as he is very detailed and particular. Alex and crew exceeded all our expectations and turned out a wonderful room for us. Very punctual, courteous and knowledgeable. Also kept the work site clean and tidy. Alex and his crew did an absolutely impeccable job on my kitchen project. They were on time every day and took their time making sure everything was PERFECT. I have already recommended him to my friends and family.
Not only did Alex and his crew do a fantastic job but his team are good people who do their job as if they were working on their own homes. After each day of work they cleaned up everything to the best of their ability until they came back the next morning.

Alex was suppose to do some work for me but never showed up or would ever return phone calls or texts - Very unreliable not to mention just bad business practice overall - Quoted me extremely high for the work to be done but was willing to pay it - Empty promises without any work performed - I refuse to give business to people who care about no one but themselves and are rude - I would never recommend Rios Finish Carpentry due to Alex's unprofessionalism and his unwillingness to help me in completing my job - He is a very questionable business owner.

I called for another quote from another company who seemed disinterested in doing the work and gave me a price almost double the cost.
I called Alex immediately back, who was able to fit me into his schedule. Showed up on time when he said he was, stuck to his quoted price and explained the entire process to me. Made sure he gave me each of his workers names who were coming into the house to help him with the work.

Rios Finish Carpentry IS the company to do business with! Alex is totally reliable and knows what he's doing. He and his worker, Hector, did a fabulous job on our AZ Room. He gave me ideas and different ways of finishing the trim that I didn't think about. When Alex told me a time he or his worker would be there, they were always on time. They worked long, hard hours. Alex always kept me informed on what was going on. Alex and Hector cleaned up by removing all the debris and dust. Put everything back in place and cleaned our patio where they worked outside to keep the dust down. Totally reliable

Alex was referred to me by Discount Door and Trim to replace all windows and a patio door on our block home. He verified measurements and worked with the Discount Door salesperson to confirm the order. The patio door came in opening on the wrong side but Alex was able to adjust the door so that it opened on the correct side. He was able to install the windows within a day of delivery. They did a great job on the windows and door installation with a minimal amount of paint touchup required after the job was done. The area was cleaned up and and old windows gathered in a tidy pile for disposal
