We serve Northern Mexican cuisine with authentic flavors and seasonings as well traditional entrees with modern twists. Here at Allan's we strive to make dishes that incorporate the flavors & seasonings from our home state of Chihuahua, Mexico. We also include traditional styles & entrees from other regions of Mexico, and in our menu you will find we have brought in some varieties of which we consider to be "neo-traditional" using the same principles, flavors, & seasonings we grew up with.Buen Provecho! See you here!

Ordered takeout last nite. Some good things
Chips and salsa were very good. Salsa was excellent!!!
The vegetarian fajitas were very good too.
Now the really really bad part……
The QUANTITY was soooooo little it just wasn’t sufficient for even one person. And this was not family style. Can’t believe we ended up having to make food.
The vegetarian Chile Renello was UNEATBLE. It had the worst oil smell and I don’t even have a sensitive nose.
Just disappointed overall.

Allan’s is DELICIOUS. Tonight was our first visit and unfortunately our takeout food was missing some side items. I called and they were extremely apologetic, offering to have the items ready quickly and throw in an extra appetizer. Once we ate dinner, I realized I would have driven back multiple times for their food LOL. We will definitely be back :)

I just found about Allan’s about a month ago, I was so impressed with the quality, flavour and taste of the food so much that I took a friend their the following week. Since I have found out about this place, I have been there 4 times in just over a month(2 in person and 2 take out orders). I had the same server during my in person visits Leo, he is so professional, kind and knows so much about the menu, he always makes it a priority to deliver an excellent service. I have recommended this place to a group of friends and we plans to have our reunion dinner here at the end of October. Defo the

I frequent Mexican twice a week and love authentic Mexican feel. I really wanted to love this place because the vibe / setting / server were amazing! But this place is not worth the money. Here’s why
1. We get fajitas everywhere we go it’s our favorite dish we payed 20 dollars here for fajitas and didn’t get enough meat or veggies to fill our 4 tortillas. The meat was good but not filling.
2. We payed 20 plus dollars for 2 margaritas that tasted like juice. I ordered a Cadillac and my wife ordered a spicy. When I go to Mexican I want to feel some sort of tipsy ness when I drink a margarita

This is one of those places that tries too hard to be something it's not. Trying to be way too fancy with exotic dishes they don't know how to make properly. Stick with what you know.....also in texas when you get mexican food you get heaping portions no matter where you go, that's one or the beauties of mexican food. Here the portion sizes are what would typically be on the kids menu somewhere else. Big no no, stop trying to be some fancy restaurant and just be a Mexican place.
Lastly I was gonna give this 3 stars because the food wasn't horrible to deserve 1 star but after seeing all the responses

I haven't had really good authentic Mexican Food since I moved from Texas a little over a year ago. I can't believe I found this great place around 5 minutes from my house!
The look of the place definitely reminded me of some of the places I've eaten in Texas and in Mexico. Leo was simply incredible. He was very attentive and accommodating to my requests.
The only problem is there were too many delicious sounding dishes to try on one visit. I had the shrimp tacos, which were probably the best I've ever had! Also, don't tell my wife, but I ate a whole piece of Choco Tres Leches cake that was probably

Solid Mexican restaurant with a wide variety of dishes for all food preferences and ages. The complimentary chips were delightfully thin and warmed, the style I’m accustomed to finding in Tex-Mex places. The salsa served with them is thick and flavorful, with very little heat — good for chile-sensitive kids! The mole sauce was on the sweeter, peanut-rich side of the spectrum. The salad was very large and flavorful. We didn’t order dessert this time, but apparently they make their own flan from scratch. Good Mexican food is strangely hard to find in Portland (for those of us who prefer a Tex
