Our activities promote interaction with nature, so Cherith campers spend a lot of time outdoors surrounded by the splendor of God's creation.

Beautiful Lake Six provides a clean and safe environment for our waterfront activities, and Schram's Lake offers a majestic backdrop for morning devotions, outdoor chapel services, canoeing, and hanging out with friends. Our horsemanship program makes use of miles of wooded trails and our many scenic campfire sites make outdoor cookouts one of the week's highlights.
Services
Camp Cherith is a place where the love of Jesus is lived out. As a Christian camp we're deeply committed to teaching kids of all ages how to make Christ real in their lives - not just for a week at camp, but in every phase of life. Our counselors look for teachable moments to share their own joy in an authentic relationship with Christ.
The name Cherith came from the name of the brook the Lord sent the prophet Elijah to for spiritual refreshment (1 Kings 17:1-6). Camp was held in various locations, including Head of the Rapids in St. Croix Park (1957 - 1972). In 1954, the Counselor in Training program (now Camper in Leadership Training or CILT) was started.
We are accredited by the American Camp Association. The American Camp Association is a community of camp professionals who, for over 100 years, have joined together to share their knowledge and experience and to ensure the quality of camp programs. We are licensed by our parent organization, Pioneer Clubs.
Camp Cherith provides a safe and supportive Christian community in which girls can grow in their faith, build relationships with others, develop new skills, and grow in appreciation for God's creation. Campers are divided into cabins of about 8 girls by age group. In this small group setting their counselors will guide and encourage campers in their understanding and relationship with Jesus through a daily bible study, devotions, and prayer.
Boys Weeks at camp are fun-filled, exciting weeks, intentionally designed for campers to experience God through Jesus, and to encourage and prepare campers to walk with Christ in every phase of life. From worship time following meals, to evening messages from the directors to Bible Exploration time with their cabin, boys will hear from men about who our Lord is, His plan for our lives, and how we can trust Him in every phase of life.

This is an awesome, tech free way for kids to enjoy nature, try new experiences and learn about who they are. The staff are fun and friendly and passionate about leading kids through many different experiences. The Biblical focus in teachings and songs inspires kids to discover it on their own

I really like camp, even weather's bad, I still had fun. I also like the horses they are all so easy to ride, and the activities. From mine point of view it's a nice camp.

Camp Cherith is a wonderful place to be. I started volunteering there in 2007 and have been hooked ever since. The camp is a wonderful, and extremely safe place to send your children. They are almost sure to have a blast. Camp Cherith offers a wide variety of activities including canoeing, kayaking, archery, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, horsemanship, sports, air riflery, and much more.
