I wish I could give this company a ZERO star. Do not buy a noritz tankless water heater they break and it will cost you more to fix then to replace the unit. All noritz will do is replace the parts under warranty. After they warranty the unit you have to wait for a reference number then a CO number to get the replacement parts. Products are crap and break down. This is my 3rd part replacement in 5 years

Don't bother purchasing Noritz

I've been on the phone with Noritz tech support for 3 hours. 2 hrs 45 minutes on hold. Connected with a tech at the 1hr 15 minute point and after getting nowhere asked to speak to supervisor, was transferred and now put on hold for the duration mentioned.
We had a heat exchanger replaced last year which according to their warranty page should be covered for 12 years. We paid a pro-rated amount for part, but now just a little over a year the same part has failed and caused water damage to our ceiling. Technician says parts are not covered for warranty

I'll give them 2 stars. My first part purchase through this company a few months ago went OK. Nothing amazing it just went OK and I got what I needed so there is the two stars in this review. No stars for my second experience. I called customer service today and I spoke with a so called senior technician by the name of Luis. The guy was a piece of work, very rude and didn't seem to know what he was talking about. I had a simple request for a new part (a straight pipe) to extend a tankless water heater vent through a slightly thicker wall as the one I had was too short for my project.

Ok zero stars literally if possible. The customer service reps are a joke. Two weeks without hot water heater and they're still trying to diagnose and go through the same button pushing each time !!! I'm at wits end and already have paid $1100 to a plumber to install parts they sent out the first time.

This time the plumber told me the unit really needs to be replaced so it's like oooook I just spent $1100 for nothing.

Why can't this company just acknowledge that a one of the units is faulty ??

The manufacturer date is 2018 but we didn't even move into our BRAND NEW

I have spoken with Valerie a few times and she has been extremely, helpful. She is competent, knowledgable, and patient as she worked thru my problem. As of this email. I have ordered replacement parts and she has sent me a schematic allowing me to make the repairs. I was a little concerned about replacing the ignitor but she discussed with me and I feel confident to try it today. The person who installed the unit has retired so I don't have s service person right now. I was very pleased with Valerie's support and the NRC661-DV has given me several years of reliable hot water.

Reputed to be the best, they certainly do not stand behind their products. A failure of a part that, according to my plumber should NEVER fail, failed. An internal copper line ruptured, getting water everywhere, making the unit unusable and not repairable. The company was willing to do nothing. It was slightly beyond the warranty period. I would seriously consider other brands if customer service is important to you. These units are expensive and should have a serious amount of company backing.

We bought a Noritz CB 199-DV, propane in 2017. Awesome machine. We live at 8700' in Colorado and this unit supplies our domestic needs down to -15F with no issues... endless hot water. It also supplies the hot water to our in-floor heating system, a total game-changer to our quality of life up here. Finally had some maintenance glitches in 2021. Called Noritz and got Ronnie P, Customer Care Agent Tech Support/Combi Specialist located in Fountain Valley, CA. Ronnie was able to walk me through diagnostics, and order replacement parts provided free of charge with the unit still within the parts

We have a Noritz tankless water heater that is under warranty that went out and was leaking on 4/2/21. A plumber came and stated it needed parts that Noritz will have sent to us. We received parts on 4/6, plumber installed on 4/7 but stated it needs a different part that he will pick up from Noritz on 4/8 and install. On 4/8 the new part was installed but Noritz told the plumber it needs yet another part (5th part) since it didn't fix the problem. Installed an EZ111 tankless January 7th, 2021. Advertised as 25 year warranty. Water heater started throwing overheat and heat exchanger codes a little over a month later on February 20, 2021. Turns out heat exchanger is cracked as water just constantly pours out of the condensate drain. Tried to file a claim to replace lemon of a water heater and keep getting the run around and transferred time and time again. I was told I'd receive a call about my claim on March 1st and havent heard anything all week on it. Poor service and clearly a company that doesn't stand behind their products

Update: I have found Jay Hassel is the Agent for Servic e of Process Update: the customer service is non-existent. I have sent 5 emails via their website in an effort to work with them. The heater I had installed has NEVER WORKED PROPERLY. For 4 years I have called them when I have 2 spare hours to do so. It’s easier to take a cold shower than to spend the time to call these people.
Do not expect Noritz to honor a warranty! The heater is complex and ridiculous. They tell you to buy a water softener and to descale with vinegar (this takes 3 hours). Horrible! We are going back to old fashioned

I have had a Nortitz tankless water heater and it worked fine for 1 year. To be clear, the water heater was previously installed by the home owners I purchased the home from. The Noritz staff informed me that I am covered for parts only and not replacement of the unit. I am devastated because per Nortitz the unit has 10 year warranty 5 for replacement a d 5 for parts service replacement, BUT Norktz Informed me that they will not cover the parts service even though I am within the stated warranty period. We bought a Noritz tankless system a few years ago and didn't initially use the circulating pump. We finally got tired of waiting for the hot water and started using the circulating pump. Ever since, we having a ticking sound throughout the house with our hot water pipes. The Noritz technician came out and said he has seen this problem in the past, but he had no solution. The technician said it's a "thermal" problem. I guess we're going to go back new traditional "tank" water heater.

3.5 years and my heat exchanger is leaking. Maintenance regiments alone were not enough to get this type of a heater to the life expectancy of a traditional water heater. I love the space saving aspects and the endless hot water, but I can't recommend this product. I've been through a lot with the heater, rebuilding it with Noritz provided warranty parts, and to be fair they invest some time in customer support, but it's been a big investment (WASTE) of my time and money.

I love Noritz. Whenever I call them they are very helpful, that being said, I need to call out one particular person that has been extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable every time I speak with her. Jaimey Kawahara employee number 9568157 has shown me nothing but great service every time I call and I cant tell how much that has been a blessing during these difficult times. I am a technician in the field and if we can't rely on the techs then we have major issues in the field. I sleep better knowing Jaimey is there. Thank you Jaimey!!.

IF ANY ONE WANTS TO SAVE MONEY AND HEADACHE LIKE ME!!!! Do Not ever buy this BRAND. The tankless water heater supposed to have hot water continuously. NORITZ water heater, the hot water only runs for 8 minutes maximum then the water turn to freezing Cold. The senior tech support is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. When you have problems, the company will send tech and sales person to your home, they pretend to check left and right, and give you many excuses, so they do not have to replace the unit. Such a HYPOCRITE and CUNNING company!

I was super impressed with the knowledge all the people at Noritz have. I had several questions about the tankless water heaters and they were able to get me all the information I needed. I have to say having a tankless Water heater is the best investment especially if you have kids that love to take hot showers for a really long time :) I have had no issues!! Thanks Noritz :)

Don't waste your money with this company. First they say it's under warranty then they say you have to put a softener then you have to flush every year not every year and half. When you call them they keep transferring you one to another. When you look at their review it looks like their own employees putting good reviews. And the worst customer service.

We recieved our tankless water heater a couple days ago, installed over the weekend. To our dismay no REQUIRED remote comes with the unit.
It's listed as OPTIONAL on all paperwork, online etc. We didn't think it was needed other than to adjust the temperature above 120, so we didn't order the "optional remote".
Got the unit installed---no hot water. Indeed the "optional" remote is actually REQUIRED. We are on our second day of no hot water, remote hopefully arriving tomorrow.
Why is this NOT stated? Why is this remote listed as optional and sold separately? I know it is a bottom line thing,

I purchased a newly built cottage/condo two and a half years ago that came with a new NORITZ NRCP tankless propane water heater. The other 120 units in the complex came with them also. Every month a neighbor is having trouble with theirs. We've had numerous error codes, the hot water runs out after 5 min in the shower, and now the current issue: a terrible noise that sounds like a bad bearing. I turned the unit off for fear of major damage happening.
I'm sure Noritz makes good products, but stay the hell away from THIS one. A very bad design to say the least.

On 1/4/20, my Noritz model N-0751M model stopped working with error code 11. Called tech support, after 10 min diagnostic, the gentleman wants me to buy a control circuit board, NR98. I drives 2 hours to their Fountain Valley office pick up the part, installed it, still does not work. Called on 1/6/20, this time the rep Sherry goes through the diagnosis again, asked to me to clean the ignition head, the system works. I changed with my our circuit board, it works. I asked Sherry to return the newly purchased board, she said it is not returnable. it is absurd.

Horrible technical support, my Noritz EZ111 is 30 minutes old as I type this, my plumber just left and I took a celebratory shower. I went back to the garage to clean up after the installation, and discovered the sides of the unit had blown out / warped from heat generated by the unit.
Immediately I call my plumber, who doesn't pickup. Fine, I'll call Noritz to see if this is something serious, if I need to shut off the gas, if my family or house is in danger. NOPE. The WORST most RUDE customer service ever, I'm on hold 45 minutes, the guy refused to transfer me to his supervisor, made fun of

Bought a Noritz tankless water heater 2 years ago. It started dumping water and acting up right away. They sent me a part for it that I replaced and that solved the problem for about 6 months. Recently, it started doing the same thing and they (Valorie) told me I needed to call out their "certified" plumber, which I did at a price of $120/hr.
