Our next professional development event will cover the university planned, executed and measured its award-winning Call to Conversation campaign. PRSA Tar Heel Chapter has been providing Triad-area public relations, communications and marketing professionals opportunities for professional development for nearly 40 years.

An unusually high percentage of the Chapter's members hold the APR credential. PRSA Tar Heel is part of the 72-year-old Public Relations Society of America, the leading professional membership organization serving the communications industry. Our chapter actively participates in PRSA's national governance by sending representatives to the National Assembly most years.
Services
For nearly four decades PRSA Tar Heel Chapter has been serving public relations, communications and marketing professionals across the greater Triad area. Support and preparation to successfully take the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) credential test. Professional development opportunities.
PRSA Tar Heel is a volunteer-driven organization - operated by and for the benefit of our members. Getting involved as a volunteer, whether helping out with a single event or serving on the board of directors, is a great way to get to know other Triad PR, marketing and communications professionals.
While the name of the company is new, you know their products: Wrangler, Lee, and Rock & Republic brands. For longtime denim hub Greensboro, North Carolina, the announcement from VF that it would spin off its jeanswear organization into an independent, publicly traded company came with a great deal of public interest.
PRSA membership provides communications and marketing professionals become smarter, better prepared and better connected. In addition to that, PRSA members can also choose special interest sections, focused on sectors such as higher education and health care, as well as sections focused on the unique needs of some professionals.
PRSA's Accreditation in Public Relations credentials provides skilled, driven professionals a way to demonstrate their knowledge and capabilities. Many APRs say that earning their APR was one of the most significant accomplishments of their professional lives. PRSA Tar Heel is home to numerous members with the APR credential.
