The folks at Pearl Bay were quick to help remove our friable asbestos material. While I'm not an expert on asbestos removal, they did seal the furnace closet, applied a substance to wet the material, removed it, and heap vacuumed the whole space rapidly and thoroughly. They worked much more efficiently than another in-town asbestos removal company, the workers even removed some extra drywall material used on the base of the furnace platform at no cost and were extremely respectful of our house and time. Our HVAC company used Pearl Bay for asbestos clean up at a job site. We are relatively new to Santa Barbara county, and have found that many contractors don't even call us back, let alone schedule and show up on time. Evie was polite and responsive, getting a crew out right away. They showed up on time, and completed the job quick and efficiently for a decent cost.

We used Pearl Bay for removing the textured ceiling throughout our home. They tested the ceiling and found out that it contained asbestos. Evie and Mark were prompt to come in for the inspection and explained clearly what was needed to remove the asbestos. The pricing seemed fair and the whole process went really smooth and finished within the deadline. Adam and team made sure they removed the asbestos with proper containment and disposed. I highly recommend Ryan at Pearl Bay (aka Rainbow) for his very reasonable estimates, ethical standards, and common sense approach. We recently sold our house, and called on Ryan several times during the process. The buyers got bids for some environmental issues found in inspections, and wanted us to pay for them. Ryan gave bids that were about 1/3 the cost in some cases, recommended against some of the work, and in one case turned down some of the work because it presented ethical issues with his both cleaning up and retesting the results. After having a very bad experience with a flood at my office, I had a great experience with Rainbow Restoration (a.k.a. Pearl Bay). Ryan, the general manager, and his crew arrived quickly and prepared. They set up a well thought out restoration plan. They made it easy for me to understand the process and the price. They came on site everyday to check the progress and made us a priority. We were able to save our drywall and some flooring. They did not pad the bill with any extra services that were not needed. I highly recommend them!
