Since we built our first pumps in 1938, Carver Pump has become recognized as one of the leading centrifugal pump companies, building pumps to the most demanding engineering specifications and military standards in the world. Carver Pump's quality management system is certified by Intertek to conform to ISO 9001:2015.
The 855 was originally developed in the late 1950s at the request of a large Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of vacuum filtration equipment. Mounting the flange directly to the receiver tank eliminates suction piping and minimizes NPSH problems. The design allows pumping to resume even after short periods of interrupted flow.
Our horizontal end-suction pump, specifically designed to meet the needs of the hydrocarbon processing industry. The API Maxum OH2 is designed for optimum reliability, featuring rugged construction and state-of-the-art mechanical design. Units are well suited for applications that include petroleum refining/production/distribution, petrochemical/chemical processing, boiler circulation/high- temperature applications, and general industrial use.
The design is a cantilever style unit that features non-wetted radial and thrust bearings located above the support plate, with a throttle bushing located immediately above the impeller. The G2C is Carver's vertical pump for handling fluids at moderate to high flow rates. The standard design is a cantilever style unit.
Our process-duty vertical sump pump for handling water, hydrocarbons and acid and alkaline solutions. Modular in design, the G2S sump pump is designed for flows to 2500 GPM and for sump depths to 22 feet. The entire series is based on the same wet-ends as our horizontal pumps, ensuring extensive hydraulic coverage, including options available for solids or abrasives handling.
