Services
Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital, has been providing health care services to the area since 1916. Due to an increased need for health care throughout the last 100+ years, SVMH has continued to expand, including an addition in 1951, an additional building in 1965 and adding a third floor in 1967. In 1996, the $1.3 million True Medical Clinic was built to provide space for several physicians.
Whether you're starting a family or facing changing needs over time, Cherokee Regional Medical Center's providers offer a personalized touch. You'll notice many of our primary care team members' credentials include the title of Family Medicine. This means that this provider is trained in special skills from managing pregnancies and delivering babies to providing primary care for all ages.

Bringing health care specialists to our community - combined with the expertise of our local medical staff - puts a full range of medical care close to you for your health and well-being.

The cafeteria at Cherokee Regional Medical Center is located on the 1st floor. Through the planned weekly cafeteria menu and patient room service, the CRMC Dietary Department provides a variety of delicious, nutritional meal options to patients, employees and visitors. Lunch: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Thank you Joanna, Dr. Taylor and Dr. Harrison for the excellent medical care in the Emergency Room. I especially appreciate the pain control for my kidney stone. Not fun! CRMC is the best!

I travel for work so I'm constantly in other areas. I went to this hospital and the MD I had (Patricia Harrison) was kind, understanding, and honest with me. Instead of just walking in and asking what was wrong or telling me tough luck and walking away we had a conversation about the issue and unrelated topics. The RN and CNA had me smiling from poking at each other from the start.
For the negative reviews on this hospital about a wait time... It's a hospital not urgent care or a larger hospital with a triage department. They're setup for a population around 10,000 people. I'm a non resident to

Third time we have been in the emergency room and again we are going on two hrs and still sitting in the room and no one has been in to keep us up to date or let us know what is going on. Very sad. Now to add to this we have

Sat in that place for 5 hours and found out that I needed to follow up with my primary doctor. I won't ever stop foot inside that place
