Mark and I formed our partnership in 1999 under the common name of The Horizon Group, even though we each owned and ran two separate companies. Over the last 20+ years as we developed a money management style, the radio show, and a distribution strategy, we grew together and independently. Our relationship has developed and remains stronger than ever.
Over 25 years ago, after completing Tulane University's estate planning institute I started specializing in estate planning. I realized that this was a very comprehensive and integral part of anyone's plan. Now with a threshold of $11,200,000 for a single person and $22,400,000 for a married couple the questions have changed.
Our process begins by crafting a comprehensive retirement plan and strategy for a lifetime of income. Working with your advisor, an allocation is developed to meet your individual cash flow needs. This is the basis of the "Bucket Approach" we utilize to provide income from your investments. Simplified, we structure one "bucket" with relative security to provide income for a specific number of years.
Albridge allows you to run consolidated statements similar to those used in our client review meetings. The advantage of Albridge is it allows you to see all of your accounts on a single report. It even allows you to access historical valuations of your account. Please note there can be a lag time of several days on the Albridge reporting system.
