I want to express my gratitude for the help you gave me with my dad's trust and for the wise counsel I received from you. You made a difficult process much easier to deal with. We are waiting for the house to sell, but we are patient. All is well, we are happy and in a good place! Warm regards. P.S. Please extend thanks for Nicole for the work she did on our behalf.

AB Trust - In a nutshell, with an AB Trust, a trust is created which splits into two parts upon the death of the first spouse. Trust A is the survivor's trust (Above ground), and trust B is the decedent's trust (Below ground). The surviving spouse has complete control over the separate trusts in his or her trust, but limited control in the assets of the deceased.

Ochi Law, PC
Amy Ochi is exceptionally knowledgeable about the law. She and Nicole Sheriff were very thorough in updating our wills and trust.
Amy explained legal terms we didn’t understand and was extremely patient. Both are pleasant and easy to work with. They listened carefully and responded to our questions about specific needs regarding our trust and wills.
We received a comprehensive binder with all trust, wills, and end of life information with additional electronic backup of these materials. This law firm went above and beyond our expectations.

Our initial trust was drawn 11 years ago. It was time to update and make several changes. Ochi Law was recommended to us through our community website. We found Amy Ochi and her staff exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and current on today's trust laws. She provided us with updated documents, advised us on additional items to consider and communicated with us throughout the process. We are very confident and happy with her service.
