I made on time payments to our creditors. Skrupas paralegal took our full payment. She said the paperwork would be filed the next day. She sat on it for over two weeks. By the time I called to find out what was going on she said she had "forgotten to file our paperwork with the courts", making every one of the credit accounts marked late and over due. So our perfect payment history is now out the window and marked late on our credit records along with the bankrupty. Bad paralegal very bad paralegal.

They were kind of helpful through my chapter 13 proceedings which is why I gave them 2 stars. To start, they give you a yellow packet asking for everything including your first born child (if you cannot provide a child, you must steal one from someone) and if you have any questions, they just read off what's on the packet. Essentially all they do is take the information you gathered and put it on a legal document and email it for about $4000, you do everything else. Once they have your money you better hope all your questions are answered because all help stops at this point. You can write

At first they were helpful and friendly. But after they take your money then things change. It is impossible to talk to one of two attorneys there as they hand you off to a secretary. I heard Mr Skrupa say his 10am appt was running late and then he pointed at me and said take care of her. Why not him. He wasn't busy. He pawned me off to the other attorney who has a bad attitude and not friendly. I would not recommend this law firm to anyone. Once they take your money, you are on your own. It's hard to get help there. It seems like they don't care.
