You should use a SAE30 or 10W30 oil in your lawnmower. Double check oil levels before each use - a lawnmower may not smoke or display common low oil warning signs. The spark plug keeps the mower running efficiently. It's not an expensive item to replace - so plan on replacing each year to ensure longevity of the lawnmower.

There's no other place to buy power equipment, bottom line. They're professional, friendly and most importantly know what they're doing, from Sales to Service. Do you want some 18 year old kid at Home Depot or Lowes assembling your $1,500.00 Snow Thrower? One eye on your investment and the other on the clock because he needs to meet friends at 5:30 PM? Hands down Granz Turf is patently and unequivocally outstanding.

The value of a Service Center can sometimes be measured when issues arise, and how the operation deals with it.
The service on my tractor, which I was confident would be repaired under warranty, became an issue when I was informed that it was not.
The 2019 Cub Cadet XT2/Kohler has a staged warranty which expires incrementally over 5 years.
My starter motor just after 2 years had, like Tom Brady, outkicked it's coverage.
(Skipping over the part where I outlined how "disappointed" I was to whoever was handed the phone...)
Ultimately, Brian stepped up and got the part and service covered under

I called up Grandz Turf Depot in Salem, NH. I spoke with Steve and told him I was looking for some mower blades for my Toro Timecutter HD. Although they didn’t have any in stock they offered to help me out and sharpen the blades. I loaded my mower onto my trailer and was greeted by Steve upon arrival. Steve introduced me to Chris in service and they proceeded to help me with sharpening the blades. Overall great customer service. 5 stars all the way.
Thank you,
Steve & Chris!!

You better bring both the model and the serial number because Alberto in the parts department can't figure out anything without both of those things in my opinion he does not have the common sense to be able to extrapolate whether or not there's a Kawasaki motor and something that says KAW in the model number. Good luck I wouldn't trust these guys to get the right oil. I even brought the carburetor with me to match up the parts but he didn't want to look at that Good Grief, Charlie Brown!

Got the run around and still got no parts. Went the Londonderry store for parts but they only sell tune up parts. They told me to go to Manchester but got there and they told me to go to Hooksett. Get to Hooksett and don't have the parts anyway. Went to Chappell tractor instead. Don't waste your time if you need repair parts.

Not at all helpful. My husband and I came here to purchase a ride on mower. We stood around with no other customers in the store whole four men sat around chatting. Finally, they sent over what must have been a salesperson in training who was less than helpful. When discussing our budget - he laughed. We expressed that we had seen a certain model on their site. He was unwilling to look up ETA. Ended up leaving, get much better service at Tractor Supply and buying there.

Have to say I don't do a ton of business here.I'm Joe backyard guy but when I do go in the staff is extremely helpful, courteous and will take the time to educate you on the product they are selling. I've bought a lawnmower and leaf blower and impressed. I go in to buy oil or a random part. Place runs like a top.

Poor Parts department knowledge. Looking for an older part for an Shindiawa String trimmer. Had the part numbers and called. I was told the part is no longer available. Asked if there was a suitable replacement and told no. Parts person could have cared less! Tried another dealer who knew what to do and was able to find me the right replacement part because he had knowledge! Replacement part from another dealer fit perfect. May not have been an OEM part, but was a suitable replacement! Beware of this place.

Very disappointed in a lack of response to multiple email requests for a simple replacement part for a Snowblower. Mind you, this is a part that I've purchased from Granz previously. I understand that things get busy during and after a storm but; ignorance of customer requests is a poor way of doing business. It's now been over a month since I first contacted Granz at parts@turfdepot.com and still crickets. If you WILL NOT help with small problems, what is the customer's confidence level in your ability to support them on major issues?
Fortunately, there are smaller, individually

Was looking for an Ariens Pro 28 and I called a few places in MA. They either didn't have it or wanted delivery fees and really couldn't be bothered. Spending $2300 on a snowblower I expected a little customer service. So I borrowed a truck and drove to NH , saved the tax and Joe in sales was awesome.
Trying to get up there this weekend with my brother in-law he is getting one and then my buddy needs 3 machines. Sending everyone to Joe at Granz. They appreciated my business , did a full demo , and were professional from start to finish.

I had a really great experience with Granz Power equipment. I worked with Roy and he was extremely helpful in ensuring I got the correct part in the quickest posible way. We had a hard to source Toro Dingo part at our door in 2 days for the lowest price in the nation. Trust me I called everyone. I appreciate saving a buck, especially when it comes with excellent and kind service. It was a extraordinary turn of events after getting the wrong part delivered from an eBay distributor. Thank you so much! Go Red Sox!

Don't buy from these guys. the lawnmower I got dropped off didn't work properly. I spoke with the general manager and he assured me "I'm sorry it's your fault you purchased a piece of equipment with a warranty not a guarantee. If you had a guarantee I could work with you".
These mechanics broke the machine three times before delivery. That should have been a sign for me but I have lawns to mow and I'm out business. They have the machine now and refuse to give me money back. I'm good with these guys.
!!!!!!!This is a warning to all of you out there looking

Don't bother calling this place even after you spent $1500 on a snowblower. I called the service department to try and get an idea about what I need to do regarding my electric start and the person who answers the phone is worthless. Usually when you call a service department a service manager who actually knows about service will answer the phone and engage you a little to help answer your questions but this place is all about just trying to get you in the door since all they ever say is I can't help you unless you bring it in. No help over the phone whatsoever.

I dealt with Brian in customer because no manager was available on a Saturday morning. He took 10 minutes to finish a leisurely conversation while I stood waiting in front of him and it was not the first time. I explained that St John was devastated by hurricane Irma and I just got word via satellite telephone that friends had lost everything, their house was gone, their car was upside down on a house and their boat was in pieces. They were totally isolated by 8 miles of impassable mountain roads with nothing but the clothes on their back, no food, water, cell or internet. I wanted a new chainsaw

They repaired my Stihl blower "under warranty" without asking me, then told me the warranty was denied by Stihl and they charged me hundreds to get my machine back. I likely wouldn't have authorized the repair if they had given me an estimate as this machine has been nothing but problems since it was new 3 years ago.

June 23, 2017 I brought a new handheld ECHO Blower on April 13, 2017 at another Power Equipment Establishment. Granz is an authorized ECHO Dealer so I brought to Granz for service. The gentleman at the Service Desk asked if he could help me. I showed him two lawn mower blades I wanted to get sharpened and my almost new blower. Before I could say anything he told me it was cheaper to buy a new blower vs repairing the one I had in my hands. Then he insisted I show a receipt, he thought I purchased it at the Home Depot. I tried to explain that it has never run properly and that I use the ETHANOL

Stay away from these guys. After being pushed into a product I didn't want, I came back four days later and they charged me a $50 restocking fee when I never even took it out of my SUV or out of the package. The best part was the person at the counter claimed I couldn't get what I wanted because they couldn't just order one, come to find out that was total crap, they can easily get it and the people in the ProParts online side of the business got it no problem in only two days.

Avoid this place. Had these guys tune and replace belts on my Ariens Snowblower. Went from starting in one pull for 20+ years to 6-7 pulls. Adjusted the carb myself and got it back to one pull. One of the belts they replaced broke after about 10 storms. Some how the original belts did not break after 20+ years...weird huh? Here's why: I ordered OEM belts and decided to replace them myself. The OEM belts were much much more rugged than the crap after market belts they used, I was shocked...Net is if you want very expensive service with crap parts these guys are for you. never again
