Services
Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center is an outpatient mental health center with a mission to provide solid support, when you need it most. We provide expert, affordable and compassionate care to people during some of the most difficult times of their lives. Turning Point was established in 1969 as an area mental health center and has grown to serve residents in communities throughout metropolitan Chicago.
We will guide you through the most frightening, difficult steps and decisions you must face. Within the limits of our funding we work to make care available to all without discrimination. We will champion the rights of persons with mental illness to promote community awareness and understanding. We will work to improve quality of life for our clients, their families, and our community.
Turning Point Behavioral Health Care Center is an award-winning agency that has been providing expert, affordable, and compassionate outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families in the Chicagoland area for 50 years.

We are pleased to introduce Turning Point Academy, providing professional development seminars for our colleagues in the fields of social work, counseling, clinical psychology, and marriage and family therapy. This series of professional development seminars offers engaging and practical learning experiences while providing valuable opportunities for fulfilling in-person CEU requirements.
This training will familiarize attendees with family therapy treatment approaches that are useful when working with a family that has one member who has experienced psychosis. Attendees will learn about basic frameworks to incorporate into an outpatient community mental health setting. Ms. Hoffmann works as Turning Point's Director of Counseling Services and oversees Outpatient Clinicians.
An 8-session webinar training presented by Mark Sanders, LCSW, CADC. Participants may attend individual webinars at a fee of $50 each, or register for all 8 webinars at the reduced rate of $350.
