We can help you with a simple patio or a more elaborate design. Stamped concrete has come a long way in recent years. It involves pouring reinforced concrete for driveways, walkways, patios, etc., and then impressing both patterns and textures onto the concrete before it is fully dry. For many years, a lesser form of stamped concrete was often seen that merely duplicated patterns.
Taber Builders has 25 years of experience building in ground and vinyl liner pools. Vinyl liner pools are a cost effective way to build the swimming pool of your dreams. Vinyl liners are soft and smooth to the touch and will not leave scrapes on your toes or your wallet! Vinyl liner pools are custom fit to a wide variety of bottom dimensions and wall shapes.

Very happy with our decision to go with Taber Builders. Tom and his crew were great to work with! We had a 28x18 concrete stamped patio installed and it came out looking fantastic. We were on a substantial grade so we also needed an retaining wall. Tom recommended someone and that too looks great. We had to remove an aging wood deck and with that came some damage to the home. Tom came through once again, recommended a carpenter and that was taken care of. All-in-all Taber is a one stop shop and his work, along with his recommended contractors, were reliable and did an excellent job. I would highly

Had been talking with Tom for about a year before doing our patio this spring. We worked with Tom to get all of the details in place and once the weather was ready to go, his team came in and knocked it out of the park. The team was efficient and got the job done for the original price and within the promised window of time. Couldn't recommend a better company to help with your concrete needs.

Taber did a great job on our stamped concrete patio. We previously had a wooden deck and this looks so much better and will require alot less maintenance. Many compliments from the neighbors.

Tom just replied to my review SEVEN YEARS LATER, saying he doesn't know me and never did work for me. That's probably because after I signed the contract Tom never showed up again. Instead of overseeing the job, he sent drunk, unskilled workers to pour and stamp my patio. My advice is to stay away from Taber Builders.

I decided, after meeting with Tom Taber to go with Taber Builders to have a new concrete driveway poured. I can honestly say that I am very satisfied with the whole experience with Tom and his very professional crew. It is obvious that Tom takes great pride in his craft. I would highly recommend and use Taber Builders again for any future projects.

Best around, my husband & I with immense research came across Tom. He's been in business for over thirty years and has the old fashioned work ethic to show for it. I'm from a family of small business owners so without a doubt Tom was our guy. He was quick to respond after my internet request, he had the estimate done the very next day, easy to understand as well. If I had follow up questions he was accessible by email or phone. The patio looks incredible and I can finally sit out with my morning coffee. The prices are fair, you won't find better, and if you do I would be skeptical.

A very positive experience from this contractor. Exceptional service from Tom Taber, he is no doubt above all the others in the area .
Very attentive to detail in everything from beginning to end, the weather played a major role in our project, if the weather could be better the project would be done much quicker. However once the weather broke he got his guys here with quickness.
After my patio was done compliments came quickly in how the patio looked so good and amazing details, my patio is the envy of the block.
Im recommending Mr. Taber to neighbors and friends.

We had a concrete patio installed in our backyard this spring and the whole process was smooth and easy. Tom (owner) and I did most our communication via email all the way up to scheduling the actual job days, which we did on the phone. The price was fair and the work is great so far. The did any shape you want for the deck and were helpful with any questions along the way.

Taber Builders just put in a stamped concrete patio for my wife and I in August. Tom Taber was very professional and the communication was great. He provided us with references which we did contact as well as visit. I only called about six,but he had a long list to choose from which was nice. We had gotten quotes from several people and price wise he was right in the middle. I'm very particular so it is not easy to impress me. Tom made us feel good about our decision to go with him. Ignore Yelp. We completed a stamped concrete patio extension with Tom. He deals fairly and honestly. He performed Excellent work matching the color of the existing stamped concrete patio. He also sealed a leak in my foundation and repaired the section of patio that was causing the leak. He also matched us up with Brian King Masonry who fixes some mortar problems we were having with our stone in the front of the house. Tom has an extensive network because he has been in the business for decades. I recommend Tom and his crew highly.

The owner came out and gave me an estimate on doing a stamped concrete patio and a concrete driveway (we currently have blacktop). He was cheaper than a few, and then slightly more expensive than a couple others...but he was knowledgable and spent time going over with what I really wanted. He did the job last fall for me and it turned out great. Even through the harsh winter we had, looking at it this week with the nice weather, still looks amazing! I live in the west suburbs of Chicago (Sugar Grove), so the weather has been pretty bad, but I can't wait for the spring to really enjoy the patio
