Whether you're drinking by the pool at the outdoor tiki bar, upstairs by the dining area or downstairs in the meeting room, you'll have full bars at your disposal. There are 3 additional half-bars to make things even more convenient. The upstairs kitchen comes equipped to handle event-scale cooking and includes Keurig coffee makers.
After checking out local venues in Charlotte, we walked away feeling like we really did not want to have just one day to celebrate. We thought a multi-day celebration would give us more time with our friends & family and allow us to really make the celebration unique. The OBX is a place like no other - especially in the fall.
Enjoy complimentary use of basketballs, volleyballs, cornhole, bocce ball, shuffleboard and tennis. The fitness center also has state-of-the-art cardio equipment and free weights. There are 6 tennis courts available at the Currituck Club and 4 of those are at the fitness center (2 are at the South recreation area).

We had a new years eve wedding at the Black Stallion. The week was so Great. Annette was in constant contact and very helpful. To provide our guests with such and awesome place to stay where we were all together was so convenient. We did everything there, meet and greet, dinners, Wedding by the fireplace, reception/new years eve in the hall and bar. People who were there could not stop talking about how awesome it was. We were constantly watching people face time a friend or relative who were not there to show them the place. Every room has its own bathroom (huge +)and most have a balcony. All

I Do Not Recommend. Tried to have an experience here as my fiancé and I loved the property for a wedding venue. The Property has no form of contact aside from messaging on the website. I have tried to get in contact for over a week now. It says my messages were read but never responded to. Customer Service Business with horrible customer service. Its a shame the property looks beautiful.

We reserved it in 2019 for a family reunion, expecting about 65 people, including children. Then COVID hit, and we had a problem. One branch of the family dropped out and several others did too. In the end we had about 30 or so. My wife and I were very skeptical early, but were intrigued by the facility and at about 5 hours in the car, we decided to go to see how everyone respected social distancing.
We arrived about 3pm on July 6th, and were happy with our choice to attend. We do large gatherings regularly, and we provide most of our own food. Since we were driving, we brought a monster cooler

Ohh my gosh this was my first time there and I had an amazing time there for those 8 days there. I was there with my client and her ENTIRE FAMILY for a family member wedding and it was totally awesome. We had the whole entire BLACK STALLION HOME and all 21 plus rooms was just to die for. The wedding at the beach was so emotional for me. True love is just so breathe taking. I was tearing but I tried to cover it up so nobody see me tearing, but as I stated about the Black Stallion its awesome place to stay at. The pool house just awesome too. Rented for a corporate retreat for 23 people – we had a great time! The facilities more than met our expectations, and the manager was very responsive when we encountered our one small hiccup.
We did a lot of our own cooking, so the huge, well-equipped kitchen was amazing. The cabana house, sauna, spas and mini-gym were great amenities!

Spent a week in this amazing house and got married here and it was great! Had family and friends stay the week. The wedding went great. It is an awesome venue.
Leading up to the wedding was a blast. We had plans to go bar hopping in the Nags Head/Kitty Hawk/ Killdevil Hills area but decided to just bar hop around the house with it's pool bar, house bar, game room, hot tubs. Use Growlers-to-Go to keep your kegerators full.

Unbelievable place to vacation. The Black Stallion has 24 bedrooms and 35 bathrooms, it's a great place for a wedding venue or a family reunions! The professional kitchen has two ovens, two microwaves, 3 dishwashers, four or five coffee pots, and all the cooking pots and pans and utensils you will need. This place is luxury beyond belief, you feel like you're at your own Resort, including the amazing beach front entry style pool with a pool Cabana house as well.

Dream Wedding Venue! The most amazing week of my life - surrounded by friends and family! The property is stunning with every detail thought out. It is super easy to get to the beach, golf course, grocery store & restaurants and still so much PRIVACY! The bridal suite is absolutely perfect -- separate from the main house with all of the bells & whistles -- and a perfect spot to get ready in the morning. It was like our own little oasis - I never wanted to leave. We will definitely be back! Perfect place for a vacation, wedding or event!
