I am a board-certified psychiatrist who works with children, adolescents, families, and adults. As a psychiatrist, I have been trained as a therapist and am also a medical doctor who can prescribe medication. I have received subspecialty clinical training in treating children and adolescents as well as a research fellowship in developmental neuroscience, both at Stanford University.
I served as Chief Resident and completed both my General Psychiatry residency and medical school at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine after graduating with distinction from U.C. Berkeley. I have been honored with national awards for both my clinical care and my research.

Treatment: My goal is to work with you (and, if applicable, your family) to develop a personalized treatment plan. I am a psychiatrist with extensive training in both psychotherapy and the use of medications. I work with people suffering from a wide range of mental and emotional problems. Mind and body are inseparable, and I draw on my knowledge of neuroscience as well as the social sciences and clinical medicine.
