Services
ESG specializes in indoor air quality assessments that are professionally, scientifically, and efficiently conducted following the Environmental Protection Agency's recommendations. Using a moisture meter, we can determine if areas of your home have elevated levels of moisture (especially in areas where the moisture cannot be easily seen).
IAQ (indoor air quality) assessments and mold testing/investigation are two of the most common services we perform for homes and businesses. These services are often combined - many IAQ assessments include mold testing, and vice versa - but they can also be stand alone services. If you've found something that looks like it could be mold in your home or building, ESG can perform mold testing to determine what it is.
Environmental Solutions Group provides crawl space inspections and recurring crawl space checkups performed by investigators who are certified IEPs (Indoor Environmental Professionals). Homeowners typically don't monitor the condition of their crawl space, which can lead to unknown issues. Did you know that up to 40% of the air in your home comes from your crawl space?
ESG performs PRV (post-remediation verification) testing for both homes and businesses. PRV testing involves taking samples in a contained area that was remediated for mold/fungal growth to ensure that the remediation was successful. If the test results show that the remediation was successful, we provide a clearance document.
Our technicians have seen a lot of properties with serious moisture and mold issues over the years. Dealing with these issues can be complicated and expensive. But a bit of preventative maintenance can help protect both the building and the builder from future problems. ESG offers moisture prevention testing for in-progress construction.

I was most impressed when I called for the appointment and Susan in nice detail with an abundance of knowledge explained the nature of what would benefit me and my family from ESG. I felt very confident after I called that I had the right people that would take care of us. Chris was the technician who really explained everything in detail and made us feel like he really cared. He took his time asked questions and at the end took the time to explain what we could expect to happen next. We have used this company for 3 years. Dan and his wife Virginia have always been on time and professional. This review is on 40-50 jobs spanning half of North Carolina. Doesn't matter if they have to go to the coast or local. Very Very hard to find. Absolutely love this company. 20 years 0 complaints on BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
