The answer to Who We Are at Texas Dive Center, Inc is we are a Disabled Divers International (DDI) and a SSI Diamond Instructor Training Center. As a SSI Blue Oceans Center we are committed to working to save our oceans and the life therein. We train the best divers and work with them to become the best Instructors.
As a SSI Diamond Instructor Training Center, TEXAS DIVE CENTER has gained not only the respect from the industry locally, but now has a long-standing reputation worldwide. As one of Texas's premier scuba diving facilities, we offer quality service for the recreational, technical and professional diving community.
Do you see underwater images and wish you could be there? Do you want to travel and have new adventures? Becoming a certified scuba diver is the first step in a journey that will forever change the way you experience the world. You will explore the wonders of a weightless underwater world, interact with incredible marine life and discover ecosystems hidden beneath the surface.
Basic Diver - This new Try Scuba program will permit you to scuba dive for a maximum of six (6) months with a SSI dive shop for that vacation trip. Requires some pool work and one open water training dive - just $250 but requires a minimum of 2 students to run a course. We will do your pool work for you and then you will complete the program at a SSI dive center at your destination by doing at least one open water training dive.
SDI Visual Inspection Program (This course requires you to be a member of Scuba Divers International (SDI) which you certification will be issued by. Lets help you design a total training package. Packages save you money and help us plan out courses. We can even help you finance you training and Total Diving System package so you train in your own gear.

These guys were very helpful and did not hesitate to help with any of my questions. They ordered in a fitting to keep on hand so that my tank could be filled at their location. They also fill paintball tanks. Their customer service in my experience was above and beyond from what I expected. Thanks guys.
