Comprehensive eye examinations are an important part of any preventative health care plan. The reality is that many eye conditions do not present obvious symptoms; people are often unaware that a problem exists until it is too late. Regular diagnostic testing and treatment of eye conditions is essential to maintaining eye health and visual acuity for both adults and children.
Every year, more and more people make the transition from prescription eyeglasses to contact lenses. Contact lens technology has advanced significantly in the last few decades, and there is a lens design that can fit the needs of virtually everyone. Making the switch from eyeglasses to contact lenses requires a comprehensive eye exam as well as a contact lens exam and fitting.
There are two types of health insurance that can help pay for your eye care services and optical products. Medical insurance (such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Regence Uniform Medical, Medicare and others). Vision plans only cover routine vision wellness exams, along with eyeglasses and contact lenses.

I just had the greatest experience having my eye exam and choosing new glasses! The optical department is awesome, ESPECIALLY Shannon, who gave me honest advice on what looked best, and made me feel happier than when I walked through the door!
She is so friendly and knowledgeable.
Thank you Shannon and Valley Vision, for helping me navigate this life with clearer vision!

Staff at front desk is extremely helpful and patient ( I called due to a lot of questions that were all answered). The nurse was warm and patient while taking all the needed pretests, and Dr. Dravitzki had a warm sincere personality and explained all the results and images to me, which no one has done for me before.

This was my first visit.. Everyone at Valley Vision was so friendly! I planned to get an eye exam, contacts, glasses, and sun glasses. They gave me a test pair of contacts to try for a week and let me take home 5 pairs of glasses to try at home so I didn't feel pressured to make a decision. For all my appointments and consultations with the glasses experts I was there for about 2 hours and they were never short with me or acted like I overstayed my welcome. I look forward to picking out my new glasses, sun glasses, and contacts! Very happy with my experience.

I stopped by on an emergency visit after sustaining a corneal abrasion. Very painful! The staff was friendly, accommodating and quick to fit me in...even at the end of a long day. The doctor was very kind and helpful. I was especially impressed with their ability and willingness to handle my emergency. Beautiful office that is well maintained and staffed.

I had a wonderful experience with Tim in the optical department yesterday! I had gone it to take a look at their sale frames and maybe try some on if I saw something I liked. I did not intend on having anyone help me but just look myself. Well, I got assigned a person and that was Tim. He was GREAT! He was patient with me as I chatted with a friend sitting next to me, gave me valuable feedback about the frames I ended up purchasing and even helped with the glasses I currently have that I got from Costco. It was a wonderful experience!
