It began, like many great companies, in a garage. In 1989, Paul Young, an Anvil Case representative and shipping case designer, noticed something was missing in the industry. There were plenty of companies that sold cases, but very few distributors who provided relevant solutions for the diverse needs of many companies.

If you don't know it and have a standard shipping case, the best way to determine the model number is by measuring the exact inside dimensions of the case. Left to right, front to back and top to bottom. Please don't hesitate to send an image and the dimensions to info@specialtycases.com and we'll be happy to advise on the part number.

I needed a fairly large case for moving my PC and everything with it safely. Finding a large armored case for cheap is impossible, but the prices on this site were really reasonable. Their clearance section has some awesome options. It shipped quickly, arrived on time, and I got exactly what I expected. I doubt I'll ever be in the need for something specific like this again, but I will certainly be recommending Specialty Cases to others whenever I can.

Went to buy a Pelican case via google search.
This shop sells the case for $28.
You might assume a reasonable shipping charge on top... and you would be wrong 😂
$49.99 listed for shipping!
I couldn’t believe it. After checking... the google listing is not accurate. The actual shipping was only about $11.
However.., if I only wanted one case, there is also a “small order” fee of $8.
So $19 in fees on a $28 case...
That’s 67% in fees! 😂
Just buy it online from a major retailer with free shipping. Walmart offers it for less $, as well.
