Founded in 1999, Active Learning's vision was to incorporate a sanctuary in the school setting that models healthy behaviors, allowing individuals to recognize their inner strengths and infinite talents with trusted mentors. We partner with school districts and organizations to promote health, happiness, education, and movement in dance and performing arts throughout Orange County and Los Angeles.
We set healthy trends in schools specifically, that expand out into the community at large, by actively participating and sponsoring events. We teach visual and performing arts education throughout Orange County including classes for the whole family to get fit, feel inspired and express themselves.

Services
Active Learning was founded in1999 to incorporate a sanctuary in the school setting that models healthy behaviors, allowing individuals to recognize their inner strengths and infinite talents with trusted educators. Our award-winning performing arts education programs serves over 6,593 students a year during the regular school day and after school.
We provide hourly, daily and weekly assemblies and field days in dance, yoga, PE and musical theatre. We concentrate on efforts to ensure high-quality, personalized learning and instruction.
Our dance curriculum is divided into different classes based on the CA Dance, Performing Arts & Health Standards integrated with the Common Core State Standards to ensure the appropriate developmental level for each grade is met and implemented through our structured classes.

Party in the Park was created to promote healthy and active life styles through games, activities, dance classes and more. It also aims to educate guests on nutritional and physical health as well as to provide awareness to the various resources available to the community. Party in the Park is held in March at Memorial Park in Santa Ana and welcomes all who wish to attend.
Where is Bejou is a picture book, it holds a crossover appeal for older audiences and to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one, and animal lovers of all ages. Where is Bejou is within the context of positive social emotional development around grief and loss.
Surrounded by optimistic friends and acquaintances, a frantic girl is looking for her lost dog, and begins to grasp an understanding of love and loss, and their eternal effect on her life.This light-hearted story emphasizes happiness and finding gratitude for having loved ones and for accepting our fate.

Active Learning Believe & Inspire (ALBI) was created as a non-profit organization as an offshoot of Active Learning (AL). Active Learning has served the Santa Ana Community for over 18 years providing arts enrichment education for SAUSD during the school day and after-school. ALBI was founded in response to the need to provide arts enrichment at no cost to youth.
