It started in 1995 when our President, Mark Vana, was a route salesman for an industrial launderer. The company would have so many used garments that they would often throw away large quantities of good used work clothes. Mr. Vana would take these discarded items and sell them to a small retail store that sold used work clothes.
That company was Affordable Workwear. Some time later Mr. Vana noticed an ad for a going out of business sale at Affordable Workwear and stopped in to talk to the owner about the decision. After meeting the owner, Randy Lance, they struck up an immediate friendship based on their common Christian faith and business interests.

Nick from Columbus & Janette from the Garfield Heights location were both a huge huge help during a stressful time for me exchanging scrubs that fit me! Janette helped me make an online order so the scrubs I could never find in store would be shipped right to me. This will be the location I shop in from now on!!! I would highly recommend :)

This place may sit in a strip mall, but it's easy to find because it is really big! The 2 members of the staff that I met seem to be knowledgeable of the different organizations/businesses that send employees to acquire their services & products! The selection is really big so, I suggest knowing what to look for before arriving (like me), talk to a staff member to get started selecting the proper uniforms & have enough time to try them on for the correct size. They will be shipped out for embroidery by the staff unless your employer says otherwise. The hardest part may be selecting the correct

Really great store.people are super nice prices are great and the store is well stocked with top quality uniforms in variety of styles and colors. If they don't have what you're looking for they will find it for you. This is a family run business and they treat you with kid gloves. They also have masks made by them in stock. Did not like this place... nothing affordable about it. The only reason I go here is because they sell pants in tall xs. Had to use the restroom really bad, and they said they didn't have one. really? How the heck do the employees go to restroom? So I knew it was a lie that they didn't have one. Spent 105.00 there. Scrub tops are way expensive. 46.00 for 2 tops. Not affordable to me. If I could find another place to find long scrub pants I would. Not going back
