Austin came by to do a free estimate, which by the way is such a nice thing when other places are charging 30 bucks just to take a look. Turns out my GFI outlet just needed a reset. When searching for a garage door repair company, the other company, Dyer was first in the results, so I called them. Their technicians came to my house and let themselves in without knocking, startling me. I wanted to give them a second chance, but they told me that my opener is too old and they would not be able to work on it, but of course, they could sell me a $500 new opener on the spot instead. I politely told them to leave and then I called El Paso Garage Door Repair.

Broken garage door spring. First time this has happened to me, so I didn't know what to expect. Could not get the car out of the garage for an appointment though...
Called this company at 1pm on a Friday, they said they'd be at our house at 2pm that day. They were.
That was surprisingly good service.
The technician, Josh, was very personable and professional. He replaced the spring, corrected a roller I didn't know was off, and lubricated everything.
I'm really happy I called this company.
