It became the dream of a dozen or so men who were members of the Davidson County Sportsman Club to form a club to fish, boat and enjoy the in-coming lake. Groups of interested members began scouting the land, looking for potential sites. The ring leader and driving force in the development of the club was Frank Davis.
Cedar Creek Yacht Club on Old Hickory Lake boasts a state-of-the-art harbor with 111 wet slips that are privately owned or leased by full members and governed by two separate condo associations, as well as a private launching area near the clubhouse. Our dry storage facility provides storage for boats up to 21' and jet skis for an additional annual fee and a fuel dock that dispenses non-ethanol gas and diesel fuel.

Did not feel welcome at pool. My grandfather has been a member for as long as I can remember. His health has been bad for the last few years and doesn't make out there as much as he would like. I am not a member only a guest of his, it helps justify being a member, having his grandsons family come by a couple times a summer. I live in Mount Juliet less then 5 minutes away. Don't see me stepping foot back there anytime soon.
