Manhattan Primary Care is the personal touch you need! Dr. Kyle Platz and Dr. Bradley K. Harrison are two family physicians, both trained in the high-tech military medical system. By having a family physician as your doctor, we will get to know you well, which is key to your health and wellness. As your main doctor - also called your primary care physician or PCP - we have access to so much knowledge, equipment and medicine to treat you.

Our office was established in the Manhattan Medical Center in 2013. It is our goal to offer the best medical services possible to our patients.
Manhattan Primary Care treats patients of all ages and is pleased to provide the families of Manhattan and surrounding areas with continuous and comprehensive health care for individuals and families of all ages. Dr. Harrison, Dr. Platz and Kerri Maxcy, PA believe in the importance of preventive care as a means to maintaining good health and quality of life.

Expect a phone call 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to verify demographic information, insurance information, and collect necessary payments. After you have entered your name and selected "check-in", you will be placed in a virtual waiting room.
Is my Wellness/Physical covered by my insurance? Most insurance plans that are approved by the Affordable Care Act cover a Wellness Visit/Physical Exam every 12 months. These visits and labs are typically covered by insurance with no out-of-pocket cost for patients. You can call your insurance plan and ask if wellness visits are covered with no out of pocket cost to you every twelve months.

Kerri Maxcy is my PCP as well as for my children. She is the first provider I have trusted in many years and I appreciate her approach to medicine. The office staff are always so friendly and I have enjoyed every nurse and other staff member we have interacted with. I have never felt rushed through an appointment, and that is worth its weight in gold.

Had to reschedule twice. one due to the receptionist spending 30 mins trying to figure out how to put my insurance in & then making me do the work to find out what was wrong. second time, due to me having to be 10 mins late but them not even telling me i had to be 15 mins early so was going to be late regardless. poor communication & receptionist are really of no help.

I am new in the area and I am attempting to find a doctor. I called and was told I needed to give my information, such as insurance and medications and they would see if the doctor was willing to see me. I have never needed an interview to see a doctor in my life. I waited a day for them to call back (thank goodness I wasn't actually sick) and told them no thanks. Find someone actually interested in treating you as a patient, not worried about what kind of insurance coverage you have.

Dr Platz has been my provider for several years. There is one thing that you can be certain of, and that is that he genuinely cares about his patients/ people in general. He is honest, very knowledgeable, and sincere. If you want answers without the sugar coat, he’s that guy. He takes exceptional care of me and now, my whole family. I recommend the best, and he is that!

They wanted to charge me $125 up front, which is all of my grocery money for the next week, because my account has gone to collections before (when I was pregnant, unemployed, and experiencing serious health problems).
They never worked with me on billing or payment options, despite me asking them for a payment option.
Find someone else in town. Their physicians are also not the best in the world, as my doctor hadn't heard of my pretty common health condition and had no idea how to treat me.

My family has been using this practice for over a year now. I like how they are focusing on our families health and not just treating illness when we come in. If you want to be proactive in your health this is your office. I feel lucky as I have always been able to get in for acute concerns within 48 hours as well. This will be our office in town.

This place is great! It starts with the receptionist who was very nice and courteous even when speaking on the phone. The vitals nurse was also very nice and friendly. I saw Dr. Harrison and he is just an amazing doctor. He was very nice, has great bedside manner and is very confident. Definitely recommend Dr. Harrison if you are looking for someone who listens well, treats you well and just overall cares for his patients. Never met a doctor with such a great attitude and care for the ones he treats. Really happy with Manhattan Primary Care and Dr. Harrison!
