Services
It might sound simple, but chimney sweeping is a detailed process that requires an expert's care to be done right, and it's key to keeping your chimney functioning and your home and family safe. Whenever you use your fireplace or stove, your chimney is working to keep harmful substances that result from burning fuel - gases, smoke, particles, minerals and more - safely contained and then removed.
When was the last time you had your dryer vent cleaned? Lint and debris can build up in your clothes dryer duct causing your dryer to work overtime, creating potentially hazardous conditions including dangerous levels of carbon monoxide in your home or even a fire. The following tips from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) can help you keep your dryer venting efficiently while keeping your family safe.
Masonry chimneys are built to last - all are made out of a combination of brick, mortar, concrete, stone, cast iron and other strong materials that add up to a functional, beautiful and durable part of your home.
But the effects of precipitation and the swelling and shrinking that comes with continuous temperature change will take their toll on even the best-constructed chimneys, resulting in deteriorating mortar and brick, chipping and flaking concrete and other issues. When those issues arise, you'll need the help of qualified, experienced technicians to bring your chimney back to looking - and functioning - like new.

The chimney crown, is a large slab that covers the top opening of the chimney. Unlike a chimney cap, which is typically made of metal and merely covers the opening to the flue, the chimney crown covers the entire top of the chimney. We offer crown seal and crown rebuild. A crown can be rebuilt as a normal crown or we offer a 3 1/2" think crown with 1 1/2" drip lip to protect your chimney from water damage.

Couldn’t be happier with their level of service, I bought a house which had a fire place on the main level and have very little experience with fireplaces. The technician was able to walk me through my options completed an inspection and did so at no charge! Everyone else I spoke with wanted $200+ If I need any further work I know whom I will be calling!

This company is not legitimate. They took my deposit of a little over $4,000.00 and did not come back to do the work. They promised to come and do the work, but would not schedule the work. Now, they will not accept my phone calls and will not return my calls when I leave a message. Do not use this company for anything. I would give them a negative five star rating if possible.

Jason and the team at Custom Masonry were AMAZING. They were quick, clean, punctual, easy to work with, and Jason even made himself available off-hours (several times) to answer my million questions and to make sure I was fully informed about the work. The team was polite, communicative, and did great work - cannot say enough good things about this company. HIGHLY recommend!

In 2018 , I wanted to have our chimney cleaned . I read all the raving reviews about Custom Masonry and hired them . I have to specify that at this point our chimney was working perfectly . After a video inspection , they recommended to install a steel liner in our chimney . Having seen the pictures , I trusted them . I had to pay $ 5000 , because we have an old house ( 1926 ) and the liner would have to be customized .
After installation of the liner , our chimney started to smoke so much that we could not use it . We spent our first Christmas without our chimney .
