Our story is simple. It is a story of vision, faith, hard work, and the pure blessings of Mother Nature. In 1973, Lon Johnson founded Trout Lake Farm in this beautiful fertile valley at the foot of Mt. Adams. It was just at the beginning of the "go-natural" craze and Lon had the vision to begin to produce high quality, organic, culinary and medicinal herbs for an exploding health conscious generation.
Recognizing nature as our greatest gift and stewardship of the land as our primary responsibility. Purity is rare in today's world. Global warming, genetic modification, and harmful pesticides are sprayed on our food crops. Excess noise, dirty air, suspect water and over-planted, nutrient-starved soils contaminate our environment.
Recognizing people as our greatest asset and their commitment and effort as the engine of our success. Keith first joined Trout Lake Farm in 2013 as the Operations Manager. He assumed the General Manager position in 2019 and has responsibility for all aspects of the Trout Lake Farm Supply Chain. Keith has over 20 years of professional leadership experience and has been in some aspect of food manufacturing for the last 14 years.
