Lumber River Campground and Trail Ride was established in 2000 by the Williamson family. Nestled on sixty acres of pristine countryside, next to the scenic Lumber River in Columbus County, Lumber River Campground is an excellent get-away destination for the horse or nature enthusiast! We have nightly, weekly, monthly, and yearly rates.

We are located approximately sixty miles from Myrtle Beach SC, Fayetteville NC, and Wilmington NC, and only thirty miles from Interstate 95, and the Boys and Girls Home Horse Arena in Lake Waccamaw, NC. Saddle up and attend one of our trail ride weekends, and ride for hours on over 2500 acres in the Lumber River State Park!

Always a good time at lumber river. Power and water hookups, dinner and entertainment for 2 nights. Tell me where you can go for new years at that price other than here!

Great atmosphere. Good people, right on the river. Pool was clean. Canoe shuttle is available. The only thing I didn't like, was the restrooms were discussing.

An awesome place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There's so much to do with your family this is our eighth year coming. This time of the year There's country concerts and a dj every night. Pool, park, trail ride, float rides down the river and vendors with different items for sale and fire works. Also fishing places for the fishers. You want regret this place they also involve Jesus Christ the most high with there business.

We love tent camping right on the river. The pool is refreshing on a hot summers day. Flotilla & concerts are enjoyable as well. Everyone is friendly. Just a enjoyable place to be.

This place is incredible . Very relaxed laid back atmosphere . Run by good down to earth people .
Nice open and inviting , at check in ,they make you feel like an old friend .
Not overrun by rules and regulations .

AMAZING PLACE!! We stayed 8 months there and meet the most friendly people. There’s so much to enjoy, fishing, horse riding, pool, volleyball, playground, live music on weekend, flotilla.......the owners are very friendly and go above and beyond to help you with what you need to enjoy your stay. We definitely recommend lumber river camp ground and we hope to be back soon.
