Services
Surfers Supplies carries over 300 new and used surfboards and SUP's from the following brands. The H2, like all the designs I'm working with, was created through building surfboards for my friends to have more fun on. The H2 is an original concept dreamt up to skate across flat sections with a low rocker and fuller outline upfront that creates speed quickly and efficiently.
The water temperatures along the New Jersey Shore can fluctuate from the low 30's during the winter Months to the mid 80's in the summer. Depending on the time of year you want hit the surf Surfers Supplies has your wetsuit needs covered for Men, Women and Kids! During the Fall and Winter months the shop will be stocked with 4/3mm, 5mm & 6mm Full wetsuits along with you 5mm & 7mm boots and gloves.
Accessing the damage is a priority. After washing the tears away, we need to analyze carefully how seriously hurt is the surfboard. If you've broken the magic stick in two, you should consider visiting a professional shaper. If you're simply repairing a small/medium crack, then you can do it yourself.
Our good friend CJ Smith of CJ_smithgraphix created this wonderful graphic highlighting one of reggae's most sought after artists. Great experience, lots of clothes and boards and very knowledgeable staff 5/5. Ended up buying a 6’6 soft-top “skipper” which is a perfect volume for my size and weight. The dude with the stache is the 🐐, got a few sessions in since I got the board and the extra volume has come in handy while surfing these baby waves. Needless to say i’m psyched for hurricane season.

The staff are seriously the nicest people. They are so chill and helpful. (Thanks Mike and Olivia!) I’ve gotten all of my gear there in the past (wetsuit, surfboard, skimboard). 10 years later and it’s all still in good shape. Their selection is the best on the island, too. When it’s time to buy another board, I’m definitively going back!

My dad introduced me to Surfer Supplies in the ‘60’s.
Only shop for me ever since. Introduced my sons when they were young. Now we all see Greg and Andrew every summer numerous times. Greg recently helped me get my sweet new board for my 65th birthday!

I am from fla didn't know anything about nj surfing. Did some research online and saw good reviews for this place. I'm glad I did. Couldn't be happier with the service. Got me all set up reasonable prices and exceptional service. Drew me a map to the spots I needed to check out! Didn't let me leave until I was ready to get wet and have fun. First off, I'm not a surfer. I wish I was, but my body's miserable sense of balance does not want to cooperate. That said, this place is great. Very friendly and helpful staff who clearly know what they're talking about and will help you find the surfing gear you need, whether you're capable of using it or not. Since I'm horrible at surfing, I mainly stick to perusing their fine selection of surf and skateboard inspired apparel.

Buckled board. Brought it to several shops near me in Monmouth County and they wouldn't touch it. Brought it to the best at SS and it was no problem. Beautiful work, finished on time and worth every penny.
I love this shop-bought my first board there almost 30 years ago and they are still the best. Stop in every year to pick up some gear.

The friendliest surf shop with everything you need to surf, paddle board, boogie board or skateboard. They have a great selection of cool clothing for every age, awesome sunglasses and the best Dawn Patrol Coffee!
Their experienced surf instructors are incredible, I took my 1st lesson at 52 and am hooked :)

Best surf shop in jersey. Super knowledgeable employees and greg and Andrew are just the best and nicest guys. This is not a super commercialized surf shop which is what makes it so great. They do quality ding repairs, and would never sell anyone a board that they couldn't ride just to make some money off them. I think this is the best thing about SS as many other surf shops are just trying to make a dollar. they are so genuine and just love surfing and the culture. That's what they're about and what makes them the best.

As I get older my boards get longer. I went window shopping for a longboard as I wanted something to paddle and just goof off in during the summer slop. I have used another 'trendy' surf shop on the island for years and it was always kind of like shopping at Wal-Mart. I got what I needed but never really had great customer service. More or less it was dealing with teenaged sales staff that had no desire to be there. So I figured I'd browse around Surfer Supplies for a bit. I was greeted by who I assume was an owner. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and showed me around

Been coming here for years - clothing & board shorts for myself, husband and kids. More recently, surf gear for my 13 year old.
Super knowledgable - these guys will not steer you wrong. Greg and the staff just don't want to sell you a board, or a wetsuit - they want to make sure you're getting the right board - the right suit/accessories - for your size, level, needs etc.
They also offer private surf lessons (Dan is awesome!).

Such a solid place, every time I've ever been to Ocean City, I have to stop in there. I love that it's set aside from the fanfare of the boardwalks and family shops on it's own. The workers all know their stuff and also give solid information on the local breaks. They always have the surf cams running too. Great stock of gear and boards and a diverse selection of clothes as well. I've never felt disrespected or hassled in there and I love that you can let yourself into the dressing area without any fuss.

As others have said... Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Owned and run by surfers.
Awesome selection at reasonable prices. I purchased a few things there this season, and could tell that they were grateful to have me as a customer.
I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a board, shorts, or just some friendly advice. You'll get more of that here than any other shop on the island.

This is the best place to get a board repaired in all of Jersey. They do a beautiful job for a very decent price, and treat you like a human and call you right when it's done.
