All-on-4 Dental Implants are an innovative implant method that provide patients who have lost all or most of their teeth with a permanent correction in as minimally invasive a manner as possible. Unlike traditional implant methods, which typically require six to ten implants to be placed, All-on-4 provides the same level of support using only four strategically placed implant posts.
After the loss of a permanent tooth or teeth, a number of issues can begin to develop that can negatively affect your quality of life, including your ability to speak or eat the foods you enjoy. A lost tooth or teeth can also begin to affect the physical appearance of your face, and change the feel of your bite.
Patients who are unsatisfied with their traditional dentures may be good candidates for implant supported dentures, which are anchored by titanium posts that have fused with your jawbone, to which the implants are snapped into place, unlike traditional dentures which rest on the gums. Implant supported dentures can come in the form of a fixed implant or as a removable denture, which can be taken out and cleaned on a nightly basis.
Deep teeth cleaning and scaling and root planing are performed at regular checkups with your periodontist, or for patients who have developed or are prone to developing gum disease. Deep teeth cleanings involve the use of specialized dental instruments that remove plaque and tartar buildup, which cannot be removed using traditional brushing methods.

I was referred to Dr. Kreitzer for a gum graft. Honestly, this was something I had been putting off for 5 years. Every 6 months I would go to get my teeth cleaned at my dentist and every 6 months he would tell me I needed a gum graft. It sounded dreadful and I kept saying I would do it next time. Finally, he told me it was either a graft or risk losing my tooth.
I made an appointment and went in for an evaluation. He and the entire staff were professional, courteous, and very kind given how nervous I was and how many questions I had. After answering everything

I found the practice after an initial consult with another periodontist that I connected with through my general dentist. After an appointment and receiving the treatment plan, I realized that they were out of network for dental insurance and my copay would require me to split the services for three gum grafts over two calendar years to optimize the insurance contribution.

Great experience with Doctor Maria. Her and her staff worked hard to minimize discomfort and really cared about my situation. Couldn't have been happier with the care I recieved, they made sure I understood everything they were doing and why it was necessary. I experienced no pain during the procedure and had to be woke up when it was over.

I am very please with my service from Newark Periodontics and Dental Implants. When I started at Newark Periodontics Dr Bauman was still running the practice. He retired! Dr. Maria became my new periodontist. I was concerned that half way through my jaw bone implant and my implant inserts for the teeth, I was now having a new doctor! I have been very pleased with Dr. Maria. She is professional and personable. She made me feel comfortable and explained what was occurring. The thing about this transition I was most impressed with is they retained the staff that was there when I started: From the
