The mission of The Tobin Center, a local non-profit arts organization, is to provide a world-class venue that promotes a diverse range of cultural, educational, and artistic experiences that improve the quality of life in San Antonio. We have needed this for a long time. A versatile, world-class performing arts facility for the nation's seventh-largest city.
A center where our school children receive specialized education opportunities and exposure to extraordinary performances. A new magnet for downtown revitalization, located on the River Walk leading up to the new Museum Reach. And finally, a much-needed home where our resident performing arts groups can grow and thrive.

When we bought tickets to a comedy show, the sight said nothing about having to wear masks.
You have to wear your mask while walking to your seat. When at their seat people took their mask off. The venue was full. When the show was over and we we're leaving a staff member said we have to wear our masks while walking through the place.
It was a full audience with no distancing and most people not wearing their mask. And we have to walk with a mask on while leaving?? Where is the common sense?

I went to see the nutcracker sensory friendly recently, it was confusing with no assigned seats. We happen to go on a day with lots of school field trips. Tickets were very cheap and we only paid $7 for parking. I did not use the Tobin parking garage. I did enjoy that masks were mandatory to go in. I also enjoyed the merch for sale as well as the performance.

The staff was very helpful since the seating locations were a bit confusing. The food was cold but the performance was amazing. I'd recommend getting BOX SEATS that way you get your own area with comfortable seat & personnel table. Floor seats were to expensive & looking over someones sholder or head for hours is not worth it(basically hard plastic chairs)

Wow this place is such a treat! My sister and I came here last night for the Friends Parody and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was a spectacular experience from start to finish. From the parking garage that overlooks San Antonio and all it’s beauty, to the immaculate way the building is structured. And don’t even get me started on all the pretty lights that line the ceiling like a halo. Absolutely dazzling. This place has a way of making you feel like a star. Truly magical. And the lovely cast put on a breathtakingly superb show. I was sincerely and completely impressed. Six stars!!!
