You arrive and try to corral your children and smile through the circus that is this season of life. On the way home, you cross your fingers and pray that you got at least ONE good photo. It's raising the kids. And I know you're crushing that part. I book a session for my family every year and I cry rivers of happiness every time I see them.
There's so much to celebrate about kids getting older. Their independence (blessed be the day they wipe their own butt), their personalities, their little brains! I don't want to photograph the magazine version of your life. I want to photograph you exactly as you are. Your perfectly imperfect story-no forced smiles or poses.
That's how I shoot: with a story in mind. I'm looking for each piece that might be meaningful: chubby baby toes, sweet cheeks (both on their faces and their bums!), and mischief in their eyes. I'll photograph you with your album in mind, your tangible legacy. This is your story in motion. You get both a family video and family photos.
Right now, it might be hard to think of time flying by. I know some days can feel long (I'm living them with little ones too!). So I'm not here to tell you to cherish every tantrum or be grateful for the poopy diapers or to find happiness in the sleepless nights. But I will be the one to tell you that I see you doing it all.

I think this fall was our fifth session with Ashley and I would have had a panic attack without her. My kids were monsters and she managed to still capture magic. I have loved every session with her and still continue to be amazed when she sends my pictures. She’s a wonderful person and I’m so glad she is now a friend!!

Ashley creates magic! She is great photographer to work with, very energetic, engaging, and we had a lot of fun! She has captured our special moments beautifully. Ashley created an amazing experience for my sister photoshoot session. We had an amazing time. Our favorite part was when she asked us to share a few things we each admire about the other sister. It was so sweet! The pictures turned out amazing and the lighting was beautiful. Ashley is fun to be around and she has a great personality. We highly recommend!

Ashley is the best family photographer we have ever had!! The amount of time and effort that she puts into your session beforehand by talking to you and helping you pick out outfits, etc pays off big time in the end. Our session was fun and effortless! I knew going into it there was nothing to worry about because we were in good hands. And after a very quick turn around, we are very happy with all of our pictures!! Working with Ashley went far beyond my expectations! She was very organized, responsive, and made the entire process seamless from start to finish. She was a pleasure to work with! Very upbeat, all 3 of my kids loved her (including the baby), and my husband and I really enjoyed her upbeat attitude and professionalism. We will definitely be using her again :-)

Ashley was AMAZING! She was super accommodating to our family’s needs and did a fantastic job. We did my daughter’s 1 year portraits with a cake smash and some beautiful family pictures as well. She is great with little ones and adults alike! She has a great eye for photography, and she got our photos back to us in a quick timeframe! I would definitely recommend and will use her again! 5 stars.

I used Ashley Newman Photography for my maternity photos, and let me just say it was the BEST decision ever. My husband and I don't enjoy getting our photos taken because it makes us uncomfortable, but Ashley took away all of our nerves and guess work during our session. Not to mention, she was so responsive to any questions/concerns I had prior to our meeting. She was so easy to work with and really took her time to make sure she captured great photos. Something else I found truly unique about her work, is she gives you all of your photos; yes, ALL of your edited photos!! I have already booked

Ashley was so fun to work with. We wanted to get some family photos taken and we wanted a fun and different location to shoot at. Ashley came through for us. The poses were unique, but she also captured the spontaneous fun we were having together. She makes you feel good, like you are a professional model.
