Stud Mounting: Stud mounting requires a minimum of 1/4 thick letters. Depending on the size and thickness of letters, we would use 2-56, 4-40, 6-32, or 8-32 size threaded studs. Spacers can also be supplied to fit over the studs to allow letters to stand off the wall. Double-Faced Tape: Precision Letter Corporation applies full coverage DF tape on all letters using either 3M VHB or 1/32 3M foam.
Our ADA signs are made from cast acrylic which allows us to paint acrylic any color, as well as apply sub-surface graphics to the panels. Panels can also be manufactured with a metal, wood or plastic laminate face to create a variety of looks. Letters are laser cut and chemically welded to acrylic sign faces.
