Good Life Landscaping was created in 2010 to promote an emphasis on regionally appropriate plantings, water-wise irrigation and sustainability. Since it's inception, Good Life Landscaping has credited its success to owner Demian Scott's artistic implementation of materials, experience and knowledge of plants and irrigation systems, and a personable yet frank style of communicating with clients.
Ambitious and eager, I jumped into my career as a tradesman in 1999. Landscaping. Good times indeed. An interesting confluence of office hours, gym time, dirt, and sweat. Not a job, but an opportunity to develop and refine my strength and ability with hand tools. Perpetually amused and enthralled by the knowledge and skills of others, I found plenty of mentors in business owners, clients, and co-workers.

Our focus is to build functional, aesthetic installations using the mediums of stone, soil, plants, water and wood. We don't, but we are happy to perform spring and fall clean-ups that address neglected pruning and edging by typical maintenance companies. It's also a great time to perform an irrigation audit to evaluate and correct faults that my be affecting lawn or plant performance. In the high desert, lawns are dependent on appropriate irrigation, fertilization and soil structure to perform well.

Demian and his crew are the BEST! I wanted to turn my lame side yard into a bocce ball court and they nailed it. Demian suggested incorporating rocks that I already had into the frame of the court and it's just stunning. Add in a new back gate, new steps off the deck, a reconfigured path so people don't bonk their heads on the corner of the garage, lighting over the bocce court and some gorgeous new plants and I've got a yard that I know I'll enjoy for many many years. Demian is a real visionary - I basically agreed with everything he suggested and I'm so glad I did

Demian and his team are professional, knowledgeable, creative, collaborative, friendly, and kind. For the most part, I had no idea what I wanted or what my yard could look like. I appreciated that they could offer unique design plans, which I could have input on. And, they also executed and improved upon the one concept I did have to offer. Demian transformed our space into something truly extraordinary. Before he and his crew came, I didn't even understand what was possible in our front and back yard. He completely revamped our sprinkler system, redid the turf boundaries, set up drip systems, tamed all of the unruly bushes and plants, brought a truckload of soil, resuscitated our ailing grass, and gave us a bunch of tips on how to maintain it all. Looking for a landscaper I went on Yelp and saw Goodlife had all 5 star reviews so I called and had Damian (the owner) come and discuss what I wanted done. He looks young but has 20 years experience in landscaping. I was very impressed with our meeting and hired him to do the things I wanted done. I had over 600 feet of lawn I wanted pulled out in 3 areas as well and sprinklers and drip systems upgraded to the remaining yard. My yards are surrounded by trees so there were hundreds of roots that were under the lawn that had to be removed. Damian and his crew spent two days doing the things I wanted

Demian and his crew at Good Life Landscaping are simply AWESOME! We’ve been working with Demian this past summer on projects both big and small. He started with sprucing up the planting beds and fixing irrigation in the front yard and ended with a huge design overhaul in our backyard and added several trees. Demian was just at our NW Bend house to discuss phases 2 & 3 of our landscaping project. He and his congenial work crew installed a hardscape and redesigned planting beds in our tiny backyard last fall. He did a fabulous job and our backyard survived Bend's harsh February perfectly. Demian has an excellent sense of design, he completes all work on time, and he is extremely pleasant to work with. We are excited to see how our front yard turns out this summer!

Damian helped restore my yard from a recent home purchase. A few weeks down the road and the yard is looking really great. Grass is coming back, planters are blooming, and the sprinkler system is working better than it ever has. They fixed a broken underground pipe, fixed a bunch of the drip in the planters, and even showed me how to work it in the spring. Will definitely be reaching back out for future projects.

We bought a house 2 years ago, and it had minimal landscaping. Damian worked closely with us and helped us come up with a plan for the front and back yard plantings and irrigation. He did a fantastic job. He listened carefully to our needs, communicated well with us on landscaping design and irrigation efficiency, and worked very hard at getting the job done perfectly. We love the results! We were really impressed with Demian: he kept in touch with us before, throughout, and after the project (a contractor who calls and come when he says he will! Amazing!), he carried through on our wishes
