Scheduled and performed by our licensed Doctor of Audiology or Audiologist, these are subject to professional fees. Most insurances cover these services. During your examination you will be tested using a series of low & high frequency words to determine your ability to understand verbiage within a conversation.
The most common type of hearing loss greatly effects clarity of speech. You can hear that someone is talking but making out exactly what was said is difficult with this type of hearing loss. Individuals with undiagnosed hearing loss have the perception that "everyone mumbles" when in fact they are experiencing symptoms of a hearing impairment.
Dr. Sheryl Figliano has been an audiologist with the Centers for Hearing Care since 1989. As President and Owner of all seven locations, Dr. Figliano is passionate about delivering superior patient care to each and every person at all seven Centers for Hearing Care locations with the utmost compassion and sincerity.

I have been a patient with Dr. Figliano for almost 30 years. I would never go anywhere else. She always makes sure that I am doing well with my hearing aides, gets me in the office as soon as possible when something comes up, and her staff has always been wonderful. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to the latest and greatest aides and technology with the aides. I tell anyone who is looking for hearing aides to go to Centers For Hearing Care. I am thankful for Dr. Figliano every day.

Dr. Figliano and her staff are phenomenal. They helped me to identify my hearing loss and prescribed the appropriate hearing aids. My quality of life has improved remarkably since I can “hear again” and understand with clarity, the spoken word! Most of all, the personal attention and compassion that I experienced from each and every member of the Centers for Hearing Care will keep me coming back as a patient for the rest of my life. I have been working with Dr. Meghan Annis. She has been wonderful. I purchased the Starkey hearing aids that fit in the ear canal so that they are not visible. These can be a little tricky. Dr. Annis knew that I wanted these to work for me and she has been extremely helpful and patient She has even fit me in on her lunch break. She did a remold of my right hearing aid because I was having difficulty getting it in She is definitely an asset to the Centers for Hearing
