I recently had the pleasure of attending this hospital in a vendor role and was very impressed. The nurses were top shelf and well-managed by leadership. The staff I spoke with were very satisfied with their work environment, despite the challenges they face during the pandemic.
This hospital was groomed well and the parking situation was one of the easiest I’ve had to deal with.
To add to my positive experience, this hospital had one of the most well-curated art collections I’ve ever seen.
I don’t live anywhere near Kansas but I feel strongly that I would feel feel very comfortable receiving

My husband (Wayne) was airlifted to Hays Medical September 2021 he was battling Covid pneumonia. He started off in Acute Care then was transferred to ICU . We thought we were going to lose him but God had other plans. I thank God everyday for the Doctors, Nurses and Staff for not giving up on him; they battled along side of him. Today December 2021 he was rolled out with a warm farewell and transferred to a rehabilitation center where he will complete his recovery. No amount of words can express how thankful we are for all of you. We are truly blessed. Because of all of you and the prayers answered

The staff and doctors were and are amazing. By the grace and mercy of a loving heavenly Father and the talents and the skills of the hospital staff. I am still alive and well. I was in the hospital for a long stay and was so happy to be healthy enough to leave. I was sad though that would not be able to thank all the staff personally and would undoubtedly never see any of them again. Did I mention that they were amazing?

I've had to take my mom here multiple times and every single time no matter what aspect of the entire complex I'm at I am always impressed with how they handle themselves and the way they treat my mom when they take care of her.

From ER to admission then dismissal I have no complaints. I was treated with respect by all staff and they all listened to my concerns. From Resp Therapy-PT-Xrays and on floor staffing...they were TOPS!! My dotors were above what I thought they could be. In all I had the best possible 5 day stay.
I thank each individual immensely for making the stay bearable!❤❤

My husband got transferred to Hays since they do dialysis on the weekend. The hospital we had been in didn't provide dialysis on weekends. Anyway, when he got there, he was treated way better than the other hospital! They took time for wound care on his leg, they provided passive physical therapy, and the cardiologist was wonderful. The nursing staff were very helpful and caring. When my husband started having problems, the head nurse took care of me and explained what was happening. My granddaughter was in the car waiting for me because we were in such a hurry to get there, she forgot her shoes

For three days I spent quite a bit of time there for I went in on Monday for a doctor's appointment to the Orthopedics and on Tuesday I was in surgery. They were very professional, very friendly, and made me feel very welcome and taking care of because I was there by myself. Thank you very much
