Montgomery Air Freight, Inc. dba MAF Expedited is a family owned business that over time has grown to be the Southeast Region's largest heavyweight air freight trucking operation. Our operations began with the purchase of Harbin Freight Lines in 1997. Harbin Freight Lines had been in business since 1938 operating out of Luverne, AL.
In 1998 our operations acquired Montgomery Air Freight, Inc. with locations in Montgomery and Dothan since 1972. Later in 1998, all operations for Harbin Freight and Montgomery Air Freight were moved to Montgomery, AL with operations being housed in one location. In the year 2000 expansion occurred with the opening of locations in Birmingham, AL (BHM Express) and Huntsville, AL.

Services
Our core business is serving our multiple markets with safe and efficient local Pickup & Delivery for our customers. All of our locations run daily P/U/D routes servicing residential and commercial pickups. We currently service over 1,000 points across our 7 terminal locations. Our fleet contains the majority of straight-trucks with liftgate service along with cargo/sprinter vans, and tractor-trailer dry vans for local cartage delivery.
Hot Shot's are our bread and butter as we know the need for efficient and effective movement of goods. We have equipment available from Vans to Tractors to service these expedited shipments that are time critical. We currently service Charter P/U/D and Freight Loading at the following airports: TCL, BHM, HSV, EKY, ASN, ANB, MGM, AUO, LGC, CSG, PNS, MOB, TYS, and CHA.

CFM, developed by Crown Data Systems, is a leading Microsoft Windows SQL software application providing the power and flexibility required by today's logistic companies.

Overall, I will have to say my experience working with this company recently was very lackluster. I ordered a TV through amazon and it was shipped through this company. The drop of was a bit annoying as I had yo wait a week to have it delivered, although thats not out of the ordinary for such a large item. My problems started when I had tto have the item shipped back do to some quality issues. For a pickup, they do not have scheduled times only days. In be other words you are required to be available from 9-5 throughout the entire day for the driver to pickup your item. Secondly when I set up the

The absolute worst delivery service I have ever had to deal with. They are so unprofessional from their initial contact, to phone “support”, to their attempted delivery. They can’t seem to manage their delivery drivers and when the deliver packages. This didn’t happen just once. It has happened 2x in the past month with both deliveries via this vendor.
To anyone looking to ship via MAF, know that your customers will be mad at you for picking this incompetent delivery company.
