Early features that set apart from competitors were the attention to safety and the ability to get quick melts. During World War II, MIFCO began a commercial heat treating operation for almost two decades. This gave us invaluable experience in designing rugged heat treating equipment. Today MIFCO is a leading supplier of tool room furnaces and ovens.
Services
Bench model - single chamber. LT series - convection oven. HT series - single chamber free standing unit. DU series -dual chamber consists of high temperature upper chamber, annealing oven bottom chamber. We also offer control configurations that will satisfy any needs you may have. When you find a model you like, our sales staff will contact you and prepare a customized quote.
Molded insulation with ceramic fiber blanket lining provides exceptional insulating properties, speeds heat up time and greatly reduces power consumption. Furnace walls backed up with molded insulating materials to form rigid, durable unit. Heavy duty, low watt density heating elements for maximum element life located in the top, bottom and both sides of the heating chamber.
This series of LTG (Low Temperature Gas) Furnaces was designed for use in tool hardening shops and metallurgical technology laboratories for tempering, or drawing hardened parts or dies. It is also suitable for solution and precipitation treatment of aluminum and other non-ferrous alloys where extreme accuracy and clean atmospheres are required.
To gain maximum temperature uniformity, MIFCO LT (Low Temperature) Series Convection Furnaces are designed with a stainless steel high velocity fan to force air evenly throughout the load. The fan draws air in from the top of the stainless steel furnace chamber and blows it over the heating elements to re-enter the furnace chamber through orifices in the sides and bottom.
We recommend that the customer install a pressure gauge and regulator on their incoming line. We do not supply these items. MIFCO HTG-98 Gas Heat Treat Furnace uses automatic temperature control and proportioning burner systems with standing pilot, spark ignition and ultraviolet safety systems. Temperature uniformity throughout the heating chamber is the goal in the design and operation of high temperature, heat treating furnaces.
