I paid for my ride, the driver said I didn't. I paid AGAIN. The driver then showed up at my house at 8am demanding I pay again. Not sure what's up with her, but she definitely wasn't professional. Now they want me to pay in cash. Oh hell no. Most sketchy cab company in town.

I called at 8:07am they told me 15-20 minutes. I called back at 8:40 and they told me it would be a little longer. I said my appointment is at 9, so if it's past that there is no sense in bothering to come. They told me they wouldn't be able to get there that fast...FAST? They were already 13 minutes LATE! Never again. Unreliable. Don't call unless you have all day to wait.

I called 20 minutes before 8 and they said 15 minutes so we were waiting and they pulled up I told my bf babe their here and all a sudden their was some random lady at the end of the street who waved the taxi down and they drove away and picked her up I tried to call twice finally the 3rd time someone picked up and said oh that lady needed a ride ok well you guys didn't even call didn't wait didn't nothing and my bf has to be to work at 8 which you made me husband late and the last time you guys were here you "got lost" so didn't show up tell 830 this is horrible service I wouldn't recommend you

I would like to report a reckless Taxi driver we encountered on 16 Aug 830 PM from Staybridge hotel to the Olive Garden restaurant in Rapid city. This was taxi number 34. He was speeding and taking sharp turns, in spite our requests. Eventually on one turn, my wife was thrown out of her seat. We forced him to stop and check if any injury. There was nothing obvious other than shock and pain in the lower back. With time her pain has grown and we are following up medical treatments.
We tried to contact the management few times but no manager was available. We reported the incident to attending dispatcher

My flight arrived at 10:45. Called this taxi service because Uber/Lyft we’re not available (no drivers available). Some man called me back a half hour later asking if I got picked up yet, I said no. He said he didn’t want to take someone else’s ride and if nobody picked me up then to call him back. I thought it was crazy to even say that so I didn’t even call them back.
Needless to say, I continued waiting and even called the cab company back an hour later to see what was going on- they didn’t answer. It’s currently 12:00am and I need to work at the hospital tomorrow morning at 7am

I ride them regularly for work, sometimes it’s cheaper to ride a Lyft but try and keep it local you know. If you know you gotta be somewhere try and call ahead to schedule a ride, they’re pretty good about getting to you. Occasionally someone will forget to communicate to other drivers but they do a pretty hasty job of fixing the issue.

If there was a no star rating I would have said they weren't even worth a star. Very poor service and will never call to try to use them again...I recommend Lyft to anyone reading this don't give Rapid Taxi a penny. Can't even count on them to pull through because apparently drunks are more important than a sober person trying to make it to work, except the sober person going to work is probably the better tipper than the drunks trying to scamper home, very poor work ethics! Thumbs down!

Rapid Taxi is a horrible company. I ordered a ride around midnight was told its be an hour an they never arrived. After 2 hours my phone was dead and I had zero access to any communication. After a neighbor helped me out with a phone line (at 2 am I was lucky enough that he saw me waiting outside) we recalled rapid taxi. 15 minutes later the… rudest driver I've ever been with arrives and stops adjacent in the middle of twilight ave because I complained about the wait and threatens to physically throw me out of the vehicle. The driver then dropped me off at the nearest gas station and called

Waited exactly 1 hour 15 minutes for the cab before canceling. I then received a call from the cab driver telling me that there was a $5 cancellation fee which I was not informed about when I cancelled the cab. When I told him that I wouldn't pay for the hour fifteen minute wait, I got briskly hung up on.

Picked up at the airport. Car smelled like 3 week old gym socks. Curbside door didn't work, and the driver had his seat back so far to prohibit actual entry on the driver's side. Driver never left his car seat to help with luggage at the airport or on drop off.
Usually the cars smell like old ashtrays. The old sock smell wasn't an improvement.
One time I was lucky enough to have a driver who was also acting as a dispatcher, taking phone calls and writing down phone numbers WHILE DRIVING.
They get two stars because I have had a few really nice drivers, and they normally get

This was the rudest man ever. I called on Saturday night & he said it would be about 20 min. I said that was fine and gave him the address. I was at a bbq and a kid fell (pretty badly) so I told the man I would see him in 20 min and hung up. I then called back to apologize for abruptly ending the call and the man was a complete a***ole about it. Said not to call this company and he was passing on the call and hung up on me!!! Worse service ever!!!

Hey!! If your travel plans include not getting to the airport, I highly recommend Rapid Taxi!!! Dispatch said it'd be 20 minutes, and 1 hour later the dude showed up - loud opinions on Muslims and all!! Call the express/shuttle place at RAP - they have a ton of vans and can send someone to you immediately. But if you love adventure, and the bar at RAP, Rapid Taxi is FOR YOU!

After calling I was rudely greeted by a female dispatcher. From the Rapid City Regional airport to my house in Box Elder, literally 5 mins away, they want $28. I ask why so much and was not answered. When I proceeded to ask if there is a military discount I was told no. My guess was through spite since I later found on the website they do. Horrible experience. FYI i found many other cheaper taxi services after the fact.
