Showcase Sound is a family owned Entertainment and Event Production company owned by Ben and Lisa Spokony. Our DJ experience began through a part time job while Ben was in college in Washington DC. A few years later Lisa came along and Showcase Sound was born.
In addition to the experience of our Wedding DJs, we are always improving our skills and innovating our shows by attending industry seminars, reading trade magazines, networking with other DJs and other special events professionals, and learning new techniques, dances and trends.Over the years we have seen a huge amount of growth.

We are not surprised. Like all businesses and products there is always someone who does a great job for the price they charge. When looking for a restaurant you will see great reviews for a fine dining establishment and also find great reviews for a casual dining establishment. However, you can't expect to go to dinner at the casual dining restaurant and receive the same experience and quality you would find at the fine dining restaurant.

We had a photo booth for our wedding from Showcase Sound and they were wonderful! Nessee pinnock was the staff assigned for our evening and her attitude and was so sweet and friendly. We had a nearly constant stream of people using the Photo Booth. The co-owner, Lisa, talked with us a handful of times before booking making it a very comfortable process and person centered. We have yet to go through the photos from the photo booth from and can't wait!

WOW! Showcase sound is the best in the business and were our first pick after chatting with everyone- we had the most incredible magical ceremony (perfectly timed songs for each group) and then the best reception party! Lisa kept the timeline rolling smoothly even with all the beautiful chaos that came in, and we couldn't ask for a more professional, talented, or communicative DJ. Lisa had a couple meetings with us ahead of time to work out all our details and personal preferences and landed them perfectly. One unique thing is the music was so loud and intoxicating almost our whole wedding danced

Lisa and Erik were amazing!! Lisa was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process! She responded to all of our emails within hours and was on top of EVERYTHING! Even in the middle of COVID, Erik made sure our reception was a party! Every song he played was even better than the last and we never stopped dancing! There was nothing but compliments from all our guests. I can not recommend them enough!

We had a wonderful experience from start to end of our wedding with Showcase Sound. We knew from the start that we wanted Lisa to be our DJ, and thank goodness we were lucky that she was available last night. Superb job from start to finish. We had no idea what we were doing since we don't listen to top 40 hits or anything like that, but Lisa knew exactly what we wanted her to play for us. Cannot say enough good things about working with Showcase sound for my wedding this past weekend. Lisa helped plan our wedding and was so responsive and helpful during the planning process. Lisa and Showcase Sound made our wedding the best day of our lives. She listened to our likes/dislikes, was the perfect amount of involved, and kept the party going all night. She was prepared for our meetings and made the ceremony run extremely smooth. She even let us use a custom prop for the photo booth, which was a hit and gave us even more memories of the night! The online portal for adding songs and organizing the day was extremely user friendly and helpful. I can't tell you how much I love Showcase Sound! They were truly incredible to work with! They are very easy to get in contact with and they make sure to go over all the little details you could have forgotten before your big day.
Our DJ was awesome and we all just clicked! His music selection was great and everyone danced until the lights turned on. We also used their photo booth which was a total hit! Everyone loved it!

We picked this dj company for our wedding this past July after much research and seeing them at bridal shows. They had an awesome "Black Friday deal" which helped us decide. The package was for 5 hours dj, photo booth and uplighting. they do also have other separate decor options but we didn't decide on those.

I should've wrote this review months ago! As soon as we went for our consultation, we knew immediately that we had to go with Lisa and her crew! Very professional, friendly and outgoing, Lisa knew exactly what we were looking for! Choosing what lighting to go with, colors, and even suggesting the big "love letters," everything was perfect. The "love letters" by the way...HUGE hit with everyone! So fun! We didn't go with the photo booth, but everyone was taking pictures by the letters! It was great! The three stars are for the business and the woman who I worked with there. She was very professional and friendly. She was on top of any forms and called to confirm. The DJ himself, cashawn, was so withdrawn. He barely spoke to us or at all! We had to ask several times for the music requested to be played. He was 45 min late and did not start actually playing music until 6:30, we requested a 6:00 start, then ended before our end time. Needless to say he definitely didn't earn the tip we gave him.

Lisa was our DJ for our wedding last weekend and she and her assistant did an amazing job. She was so helpful in guiding us in choosing music for our wedding that we enjoyed and our guest would as well. She was even able to incorporate requests from my parents that were slightly cheesy, but she found modern versions that were fun for a young crowd to dance to and made my parents happy.

Lisa was fantastic. She was very responsive, helped us through the whole process, and on the wedding day was flawless. Showcase handled our ceremony music, up-lighting (which was jaw-dropping), hosted an amazing photo booth that comes with your own personal booklet at the end of the night, and did a great job with as DJ for the evening. The sound was perfect and the volume was perfect (you could still have a conversation with the music playing). I selected Showcase Sound after we interviewed about 5 DJs. I was really of the belief that the DJ makes or breaks your wedding, so I wanted it to be the right choice but we were also mindful of budget. Our April wedding offered us a great deal on their services, and I was impressed with Lisa's professionalism and experience. We were told of who she had chosen for us - Kurt and Aleigha - a couple months prior and we had a chance to talk with Kurt.
I majored in dance in college and a lot of my guests are big dancers so I was pretty adamant that there be a lot of Top 40
