A local treasure. A 120 year old hardware store, that has survived the big box home improvement stores because someone would find you the right nut, or teach you how to use your new weed Wacker etc.

I love our small town and shopping locally gives better service than those big stores. I can walk in, be noticed and get help if I need it. Try going elsewhere and it seems all their staff hide where we can't find them.

Always excellent ! all staff are friendly, eager to help and very knowledgeable about there products. at this point they feel like my hardware family. The entire customer service experience on a scale of 1 to 10 They are an easy 11. lowes and home depot are a 0 in comparison.

Old fashioned quality products and friendly service complete with expert advice on just about any home repair or improvement project. They are an authorized Stihl outdoor power tool dealer as well. This local hometown hardware store is the perfect example of the vast difference between big chain stores and small town locally owned and staffed businesses!

Saved my life! Really nice people. Called me at 8 am to let me know my online order was ready to pick up. Needed a new sump pump to pump the 4 feet of water out. They had the pump I needed in stock to pick up today.
I was able to install the new sump pump and get everything dry by 11am this morning!
I highly recommend P C smith & Son. Great people and amazing service.

The best local hardware store! Small town service and they have everything you could possibly want and more! Great paint department and they keep a record of what room each paint is for, if you want. It’s great when you want to repaint.

A great local hardware store. The workers are friendly and very helpful. One of the best parts is that they fix and maintains chainsaws and lawn mowers (if purchased from them). You can get almost any hardware and tools along with knowledgeable help.

I grew up loving to hang out at hardware stores as a kid… And this is easily the best independent hardware store I’ve ever been in. I’ve been shopping there for 12 years now and they always seem to have what I’m looking for. You may have to ask for it… But it’s there somewhere. Family ownership and a great staff… They even taught me how to use a chainsaw before I bought it... You know you don’t live in Manhattan anymore when you have taken a chainsaw lesson! GH
