Irrigation Auditing is a proven method to effectively maximize the usage of water within a landscape by an automated irrigation system. Efficiency is achieved when most of the water applied by an irrigation system is actually used by the plants in the landscape in a consistent manner. Western Water Management has conducted numerous irrigation system audits resulting in improved efficiencies and dramatic reductions in water use.
These design and usage requirements are necessary to conserve water and ensure plant health. Water and maintenance expenses can be reduced when these irrigation system design requirements or designs with similar performance standards are implemented and maintained.

Proper irrigation management can have profound long-term benefits for a property; including water and maintenance savings, reduced hardscape damage and improved landscape health and property value. A study was conducted on 4000 commercial properties in 2013 to determine how efficiently the irrigation systems were performing.
