Services
An orthodontist receives 24 - 36 months of additional training to specialize in orthodontics? During those 2-3 years of training they are taught how to properly realign crooked teeth into a fabulous smile. Orthodontists not only straighten the teeth, but bring them into proper alignment as well. To become an orthodontist you must first complete four years of dental school, then continue on to specialize.
An orthodontist is a dentist that has completed 4 years of dental school and an additional 2-3 years of schooling in the science of moving teeth. Richard Luddington has been a practicing orthodontist for the past 25 years. Like his father before him, he loves the science of straightening teeth. Dr. Luddington took great care with our daughter. Two front teeth were having trouble coming in, and we actually got a couple of opinions on how to go forward. Dr. Luddington suggested trying a more non-invasive approach to start, assuring us that if that did not work, he would not charge us more for more invasive "Plan B." It was clear he saw our daughter as a valuable person whose life (and smile) he wanted to improve, and you can tell he cares about each of his patients by how he interacts with them. We will trust him with the orthodontic care of our other kids in the near future for sure.

Where others might have extracted teeth, Dr. Luddington used his thoughtful expertise to create space and keep my daughter’s teeth in tact. Where another orthodontist was set to quickly install a tongue crib for a speech impediment, Dr. Luddington was careful and found the true problem. What started out as a crowded upper jaw and severe underbite became a big, beautiful, brilliant smile!!

Reasons I chose Dr. Luddington and why I'm happy I did: Stays true to his craft. Main priority is not your money. Genuinely wants you to have a beautiful smile. Doesn't cut corners. PLUS: Is a funny guy and has great advice.

I previously worked for Dr. Luddington, he was and still is the best employer I have ever worked for. He gives you the very best orthodontic treatment at an affordable cost. His care for his patients goes above and beyond any doctor's care I have ever seen.
