I hired Bob's Canvas to replace an awning canvas that was damaged from painters. Danny at Bob's Canvas did an amazing job. I got a total of 3 estimates prior to choosing Bob's Canvas, but what separated Bob's Canvas from the other 2 companies is that they were the only company out of the 3 that mentioned anything about my awning frame. Included with the price quoted to replace the awning canvas was a complete inspection of my frame, and repairing any issues. Turns out the painters who damaged my canvas also put a long scratch in the powder coat finish plus they got paint

As an existing customer, I signed a contract with Bob's Canvas in February 2020 to repair three awnings that this firm installed previously. The stitching had rotted and the awnings were coming undone far short of their guarantee of 10 years.
Despite repeated calls to their office, they still would not commit to a date. On one of my calls I asked if their office had limited staffing due to the pandemic, they said they were in fact busy and had been open the entire time!

This is the second time I've had the pleasure of using the services of Bob's Canvas. The first time was several years ago when we had a canvas awning installed over our sliding glass door for our bedroom. A couple weeks ago, while napping I heard a flapping sound coming from the awning and discovered the awning was starting to come apart.
I called Bob's and explained the issues with our awning and providing them with photos. They sent someone to our home removed the awning, repaired it and reinstalled it the next day.

We are so pleased with our new awnings from Bobs Canvas. The process from our first contact with them was so pleasant. Danny brought out a ton of samples to review and offered us the options to get the most results from the awnings. The install was about 3 weeks from ordering and the awnings are beautiful! The quality is exceptional and the install took hardly any time. The heat reduction we have noticed in our master bedroom and over the side door is so welcomed! Just used Bob's Canvas for the 2nd time and couldn't be happier. The first time was about 4 years ago. I ordered a horizontal, house-wide awning for my upper deck. The material matches the color of my home and looks awesome. It is retractable, and 4 years later, still works like new. The supports are very sturdy and with the superior fabric of the awning, the temperature in my upper level drops 10-20 degrees when it's extended!
Ordered a fixed awning to go over my front door last month. It also looks wonderful, matching the existing awning.

We had "BOB's CANVAS" do some very unique stuff to our last 2 homes.... from the terrific electrical full wall patio blinds to the incredibly weather resistant & clean looking awnings, Jim and his son Zach and the rest of their crew keep hitting home runs with their creativity, prices, and thoroughness. We can enjoy the outdoor areas around our house year-round and a common comment we hear from our visitors is "WOW, this looks like a resort back here!" We are so very glad to have done business with this AWESOME company!

The best thing, though, is that they are a company that really cares! As I was signing the contract, Danny told me that it would be a few weeks before they could install my awnings because they had a lot of orders to fill before mine. I asked them to make an awning identical as my old one.They made the awning and it was not the same; it was missing the stripe. I told them about it and they said that the stripe was at an additional cost. I told them they never told me. They said it was an additional $200 for the stripe...i felt that they didn't communicate well with me...make sure you pay attention to the details of the contract since they made reference to it...i trusted they had included everything detailing what they needed to do to make the awning identical to mine and they didn't...overall they were were polite and courteous

I am VERY surprised to see any negative reviews for Bob's Canvas.
We have used them for 2 different jobs at our home and have never had a single complaint!
The electric retractable shades in our backyard are amazing. When they installed the first 2, they used a level to make sure they were perfectly matched and programed 2 remotes for different areas of the house. That was I believe in May. Skip to now, we had a 3rd electric awning in the backyard installed to match the other 2 & it's just perfect. They reprogramed the remotes to add the 3rd awning. We also had them install the scalloped

Hmmm we used them for the business I work for and the job was done with no complaints. I loved the way they looked and I wanted to use them for our house. I tried to call them with the number we had and it was disconnected and no new number. Then search for the company on Yelp and found all the bad reviews.. Tardiness, and no show is no way to run your business

When is comes to expectations I'm easy; prompt replies , be on-time, and don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. This company did neither for me and just wasted my time.
I requested an estimate and they took 4 days to call me back and schedule (over the weekend).
The appointment window comes and the sales guy does not show. 30 min later I get a call that he forgot and got tied up but he could get here in 30 min. I had to get my kids from school and could not do the appointment 1 hr late. For some reason the sales guy could not reschedule till that afternoon.
So we reschedule
