California Guitar Academy owner Mike Brunner has been playing and teaching guitar professionally for more than 20 years. His experience brings understanding of students' needs. This active, thoughtful listening is a big part of Mike's teaching approach, as he helps students achieve their guitar playing goals and simultaneously create new ones.
The perfect place to learn true understanding of musicianship. I've been learning from Mike for about seven years and every single lesson has been different and unique in a way that made studying music and becoming a great guitar player fun and exciting. The instructors can adapt to your style of music making it a different experience for everyone with the same high quality lesson!

Debbie Carter is such a sweetheart, she is by far the best vocal coach I have worked with! Her way of teaching is astounding, Debbie has not just taught me how to sing healthier (without straining my vocals) and improving my range. She has helped me to find my voice and absolute confidence on and off stage! I am forever grateful to Debbie and the CA Guitar Academy!

This is by far and hands down the absolute best place to learn music. I took lessons from the owner, Mike Brunner, and I can't think of one thing negative to say about the Academy.
First off, super clean, well lit, and open and friendly. The bathrooms are immaculately clean, and the lobby is warm, comfortable, and inviting. You are able to see in to each of the classrooms so as a parent you can see what your child is being taught.
Now as for the staff. I have known Mike the owner since 2007. I can only say that from day one, Mike took the time to get to know me as a person, and he genuinely cares

My daughter is 7 years old and coming to this wonderful academy for piano classes. Her teacher Whittney Mikkél is very sweet, efficient and encouraging. My daughter love her teacher and she love to come to here. I thoroughly recommend their service to anyone looking for highly qualified teachers. 😊🎹
