Founded in 1919 by World War I veteran Alfonso Orsi, Orsi's Italian Bakery & Pizzeria is one of the last remaining icons of Omaha's Little Italy. For decades, their Italian twist bread and hearty Sicilian-style pizza has been a staple of Omaha. During the early years, Alfonso and his family worked in the bakery, with the ovens as their sole source of heat.

Great service. You can really tell that they care about the customers. I saw one of the young employees walk out in the cold wearing shorts and a t-shirt helping a guy carry his order to the car. The owner was awesome for giving me free garlic bread just for being a first time customer.
I'm a fat guy with a big appetite, I got the medium size (quarter sheet) for myself and it was plenty food to get me full. Two regular skinny people will be fine with a medium. They have a loyal fan base and you can see why. They close early though so keep that in mind.

Best place ever! We ordered a double crust pizza. Outstanding. Orsi's nice Mr. Hall let us sample the cheese bread with sauce and we were hooked. It's the best thing I can remember eating... ever. Do yourself a favor and get over there. (See the little Italy sculpture around the corner. It's a giant fork in a plate of spaghetti.)
