Beginning long before Carolina Upholstery was founded by Chris Hyler in 1997, he started out gaining experience working in the furniture factories of North Carolina, America's original furniture manufacturing state.As time continued he relocated to Abilene, Texas and began building the Carolina Upholstery business along with his wife and family.

I can't say enough good things about the repair job they did on my foot board that my very large puppy used for a chew toy. Absolutely fantastic work!! So friendly and the foot board is as good as new. Extremely impressed and will recommend over and over!!

Absolutely wonderful family owned business! Our sofas were over 20 years old and looked well loved. We had been shopping for a few years in Dallas, Austin, Lubbock, Amarillo and San Angelo looking for replacements with no success. That’s when we heard of Carolina Upholstery. So very glad we did! Our sofas now look and feel brand new but with a quality of craftsmanship that we weren’t finding in the market today. Their large selection of fabrics meant we were able to choose what suits us and our home. We are very pleased with the end result and highly recommend them to anyone!
