These terms are technical terms used in the Lifting industry. Certified means trained and tested with both written and practical assessments. Generally, certification in the crane industry refers to OSHA recognized and ANSI or NCCA accredited tests. NCCCO and NCCER meet these criteria.

You can’t trust these people. I called about becoming certified and the person I talked to made it so confusing and from the information the lady gave me it is more extensive than the other certification providers I checked with - and no one has else has ever heard of NCCAR. I recommend going somewhere else to get certification. They are meet the law so get least expensive one.
