Services
The presence of iron and/or manganese in water can cause fixtures to become stained. The most effective way to eliminate these elements from your water is by installing a water softener. Minerals such as calcium and magnesium can cause undesirable buildup on household fixtures. Our recommended solution to hard water is installing a water softener.

I had a Friot water softener system installed in my home in 1987, because of mineral deposits staining clothing, pipes, sinks and toilets. Other than replacing the salt used to keep the system running I have only had two minor repair calls. This product has served our family very well for 30 years.
The Friot's are pleasant to work with, professional and respond quickly to any service call you may have. In this day and age, it is wonderful to find such professional and competent service.

I was looking to have a water filter added to our home. The owner came out, tested our water, explained his findings as he was testing, and after looking at our water and our basement setup, suggested that it wouldn't be worth it to us to install a system. He didn't charge us a penny, just gave us the results and recommended against an install. If you're thinking of using a company to test your water and quote you a job, I'd trust this guy!
